Combat is pretty good I think, you're pretty much constantly swapping between schemata to use abilities, you're able to control Lightning but she moves very slowly and you can block on the fly.

I'm personally not a fan of the game looks poor visually and the being able to run around and do whatever is not as interesting as it sounds since you're on the clock.

the clock is largely irrelevant. You even have an ability to stop the clock which costs a currency you refill by battling.

Trying to drop Tyro's SB RM now, working on Tidus' and Cloud's as well. Gonna use my mythril on banners 4 and 5, hoping for SG, Shout and Agrias' shield.

When I found out I was on the clock I instantly lost any will to play it. Yes, I've seen anons saying it's a very lenient time limit and all, but it just bugs the fuck out of me regardless.

desu just keep chipping away at the story dungeons to increase your stamina and get mythril. If you bring a good RW you should be able to battle through the trash enemy stages and then one-shot the boss with your RW summon (this works for events too onto at least the first battle on the second page give or take).

Get as much stamina and mythril as you can this way and then wait until saturday where you can pull on some good banners (ideally 4 and 5, both give really good relics for a new player to have from the start). Regardless, you should get some decent stuff and can get those characters on the team and build around them.

Alternative way to progress when things start getting more difficult.

>hone both to rank 2-3
>craft and hone up double cut and/or tempo flurry to rank 2-3 (kind of optional, but nice)
>give some eggs to cloud so he's at a decent level
>pick a BSSB or strong damage RW
>enter the stage
>have cloud use retaliate, have someone else (yuna or whoever else can use it) cast boost on cloud
>have all your party members attack/double cut targetting cloud
>he will counter the attacks on the enemies
>when you get to the boss, cast your RW to blow it up
this strategy will carry you quite far until you can get some better relics and orbs for more specialized abilities. Its very strong when you're starting out.

Usually ezpz, but some of the ones in realms I have literally zero synergy in (3 and 5 usually) have been significantly less so.

Coincidentally, the only ultimate+ I've been able to clear so far was XII's, because that's the only realm I have decent synergy in.

Not having any character in my main team that can do breakdowns is annoying me. I love Beatrix but I only have Rose of May which is kind of a poor SB. For Agrias I have Defender and her SB is pretty good, but P.Cecils should be better if I get lucky.

Maybe I'll drop Kuja and keep both Agrias and P.Cecil, I have his glove SB but Agrias can use Spellblade as well so that could work as well. Especially because Jecht can also use Dark.

Y'know considering the changes to our BSBFest and the chunk of items in it that were on banners 1-3 weeks before the fest while others that appeared in JP haven't shown for us there's gonna be a bit of a meta problem.

We still follow all the other JP banners, except collab ones, so we follow their item access... except during Burst Fest. Several items that didn't show up on our burstfest but did on theirs also didn't show up for the last 3+ months before, and won't show up for the next 3+ months after the fest, which will mean that Global for example will have approximately a 6 month stretch with zero access to Mist Overload, excepting perhaps a Support Lucky Draw. I'm not sure why we needed to have Flexible Arm be on BSB banner 2 and on Braska 1 active at the same time, but that sure could've gone to something we'll not be seeing again in months.

I'm considering pulling one 11x on banner 1 and 3 times on banner 4. Or should so go all in on 4 if I just need damage?

But we're also getting more chances for relics that JP didn't such as Planet Protector which is still a fantastic SB despite Shout and has twice the drop rate of Platinum Sword, making it a viable alternative to pull for if you need an attack buff and already have a hastega. If you think the game is balanced entirely around the handful of relics that got swapped out that only a tiny portion of the playerbase would have gotten anyway you're retarded. If Mist Overload was that good people would actually RW it but it isn't so they don't.

Featured relics on fest banners have been shifted around since the beginning and it has never made things significantly harder for global. Honestly a way bigger problem is that we didn't get the banners or orbfest before U+ Cid's Missions like JP did.

Mist Overload might not be a popular RW, but it's pretty neat as an actual SB for Fran, since it's a nice damage + Full Break effect that saves you a slot otherwise taken up by Fullbreak, plus with Celerity 5 she can Powerchain it.

It'd probably be more popular as an RW if most people didn't have to RW Wall or Shout at least.

There's a couple other things they replaced that are just.... odd, and in general I'd prefer if we either get 1:1 banners or changed banners on everything, rather than changes on the most powerful banners and the rest stays 1:1 while we also skip collabs.
