So Team Dark is more or less the anti-heroic counterpoint to the Freedom Fighters. Now while it's all well and good that they seem to have an unspoken agreement to stay out of each others' way, it seems odd that they've never really had any kind of real conflict with each other (aside from Treasure Team Tango).

And yes, Hero vs Hero is a cancer blighting comics right now, but I don't see why the games can't do it. And it doesn't need to (and frankly shouldn't) last more than like one boss fight.

Really, I'm just trying to suggest a way for SEGA to, y'know, actually use all those characters they made up.

Am I the only one who finds Oil Ocean a shittier stage than Metropolis?
The Unholy Trinity of Badniks aside; it's really not that hard of a stage besides the obvious dick enemy placement.

Oil Ocean has that, and it's fucking cryptic with it's level layout with just how open it is. Plus it has spikes fucking everywhere, more than Metropolis IIRC.
Plus it's boss is just a more tedious version of Hill Top's boss.
And the worst part is is that Oil Ocean's music isn't even that great compared to ZZ-Top Metropolis.

Oil Ocean rarely gives me shit, except for those fucking Sea horses. Metropolis just dicks you over at every turn. Finish a tricky platforming section? Shellcracker on the next platform. Running up a screw? 3 Asterons shoving projectiiles up your ass. Bounce off of some bumpers? You best bet there's a Slicer at the end waiting to fuck your face. Yeah, if you learn where all the enemies are then fine you can navigate Metropolis decently well, but it's not nearly as fun to play through (Fun being relative here) as Oil Ocean

As for history the lessons just kind of stopped at WWII and if those lessons were all you had to go on you would not think anyone other than the US, Japan, and Germany were involved it. No other country was ever even mentioned offhand. They make you think the US single highhandedly saved the world or some shit, I learned more about WWII from Medal of Honor, CoD, and Captain America comics than in school.

US schools are in the business of making money, not educating people. Even the public, government funded schools. Do everything as cheaply as possible to get standardized test scores up so the government sends more funding your way. It's a pretty shit system.

I was told in high school that Pearl Harbor was the start of WWII, not just what made the US jump in, but the actual start. It's fucked up. The history teacher was actually just one of the four football coaches and was just teaching the class because they didn't want to hire another teacher and pay them a full salary when they could just give the coach a relativity small pay increase for reading the book to the class.

Apparently they did consider teaching about MLK and the civil rights movement in the 60s but decided against it because it would "promote disobedience among students" yes really.

A school in the 2010s does this kind of shit shit. Let this sink in.

Laziness is also part of the problem, because they don't do anything to encourage the kids to learn beyond making them do a fuck load of standardized tests. A lazy kid doesn't cause any trouble.

Hell, I got praised by teachers because I somehow convinced other people to do my work for me for free because I was "working smarter, not harder". If I could go back I'd do the shit myself cause holy fuck I find basic algebra hard as hell now.
One of the people I convinced to do my work for me was a teacher.
