Honestly I don't know how Mikocon works but if their system actually helps them buy more games and the VIP privileges incentive people to contribute (as anyone who gives them games receives VIP privileges) and thus keep the gears of piracy going I don't have much of a problem with waiting.

But regardless of that happening or not (I've seen people say that's how it works, but I don't know), that's not how they talk about themselves. What pisses me off the most about them is how they preach they are some righteous group who is actually protecting the industries sales by holding public releases. Areed. The problem with CM3D2 is that it has enough momentum to keep being talked about for months, maybe it will for more than a year to come, to an extent that can dominate the thread and alienate people from it. Any game that has that staying power should get it's own thread.

However unlike say, AA2, /cm3dg/ doesn't have enough people to keep their thread going. I think it's worth trying to keep the thread for a little longer to see if it gains steam though. /hgg2d/ also died a lot in it's early days.
