Sword of Seals is the only one of the older games out of the ones I've played where I distinctly remember tons of enemy forces appearing, and moving after doing so. There's usually a subtle warning on maps where that sort of thing is going to happen though.

And apparently the reinforcements that move only show up on Hard or higher in Awakening, and I don't remember if there were distinct warnings the enemy commanders are going to send out more units, though like in most games it's usually the forts, stairs, and empty hallways they like appearing from, so you can at least anticipate potential danger yourself if the game doesn't do it for you.

I remember going out of my way to grind all his supports to A, and the only real interesting ones I found out of his potential marriage candidates were the first gen I went for, one of the second gens and Aversa's, though none of those were particularly great either.

Brass daggers are fucking awful, but being able to double everything to chip away at enemies enough so that your underpowered allies can score scrap kills on everything is great.
