Because in FO3 NV he was a Tank and could fight and kill your enemies while you were still trying to decide which weapon to equip.

That was fixed in FO4 by making your Companions weakso they could help fight until you got good and they became unnecessary.

Todd said at E3 that Beth has a couple other projects on the agenda before their next TES game. So that puts the next TES at 2019 or 2020. Fallout would logically be a couple years after that, at 2022 or after.

Ergo, Obsidian or someone else will make another Fallout in the meanwhile, which will extend the F4 life cycle until F5, similar to what NV did.

Settlement Attacks Beyond

There's several settlements where the enemy spawn is linked to the fast travel marker. Also for LARGE settlements like sanctuary and spectacle island, the enemies can spawn a set distance from the workshop bench, which can be inside your walls. It's something like 150 meters.

I gave my sanctuary settlers grenades once. Was attacked by molerats which dug their way past the walls and popped out in the middle of the farms. That was a mess.

you can only craft leather, metal and combat armor. Combat armor requires massive amounts of ballistic fiber, so it's worthless. You can't craft like 99% of clothing, and absolutely no headwear.

Weapon and Ammo crafting is bound by gun nut/science rank, so you can only craft a basic assault rifle and 5.56mm ammo when you're able to put the most powerful mods available on it, which means you're probably drowning in assault rifles anyway.

You cannot craft mini nukes or missiles.

All the factory crafting does not use your connected settlements or even your workbench to get ingredients. You have to manually sift through all your junk, grab it individually and then put it in the machine.

Since I still want some open world FPS with RPG elements horned in and I have played pretty much everything on this niche sub-genre, I'll go back to FONV.

I'd also like to see some user made terrains and quests, neither Bethesda nor Obsidian did a particularly good job with their world maps.

If you want to just build a factory then use Abernathy farm or the carpark at Jamaica Plains.

Abernathy has a lot of space in front of their house and has 3 vendors nearby (Connie, Carla, Trudy) and more if you build a town at Sanctuary.

Jamaica Plains is smaller and would require to have it on multiple levels but it's not too far from Diamond City

I can't really build at Starlight because of my autism fortress there which apparently has outlawed elevators but the other two would be my go to spaces. You could also easily build one at Spectacle Island if you made the foundation first, I actually have homes above the water to save space on the land and because it's easier to get a flat space when you build it yourself.

I trying to do a grognar axe run on survival with no power armor, but I am thinking about going back to normal to cool off the rage.

Blitz+action boy are a must to chop people into tiny little pieces before they can react, but its getting tiring, being killed by a single dog bite is no fun in any way. lone wanderer+pyscho are almost not making any difference, the damage from everything is ridiculous great.

And almost every ghoul will give you lethargy and cut your ap regeneration in half. And I have yet to deal with jihad mutants and sentry bots.

Get at the very least some decent leather armor (anything with sentinel and/or cavalier on it) wherever you can put it, take toughness, and most importantly take the perk that improves your damage resist while moving. With all of those combined you won't miss having better armor much, trust me.

Thats one of the synth helmets, it just happens to match white painted combat armor. I used to wear this all the time. You kinda look like a Halo Spartan with the right combo of synth and combat armors, painted white.

it would be better if it blasted the entire contents of the hopper out like a shotgun. reduce the damage per hit even further, but allow for multiple hits on a wide parabolic spread. kill your frame-rate by blasting 100 flaming cans at a time. then waste 5 minutes picking them all up again and reloading to repeat.

I use a save mod. Playstyle is a lot slower and cautious at low levels. Food and water are not a big issue. Finding a doctor or having the capacity to make antibiotics can be handy. It pays to plan ahead if you're exploring, clearing a site or doing a quest.

Its some animu(ish) hairs from a collection of IllusionSoft hentai games.

I'm not even sure how many are in the pack, so I might want some help with this if its some crazy number. I mean sit and think about it. If there's 400 hairs in this pack, and each takes 5 to 10 minutes...thats ~33 hours to 66 hours~. And thats being lenient on how easy each individual hair is.

I would recommend some mods for it to be enjoyable to the max

for example I hate bullet sponges so I modded it to make that the guns have realistic damage, meaning any mob and me dies with mx 5 shots (althought it cripples melee enemies since I only have to strike them from affar)

Increased spawns just to not walk in the barren wasteland

adjusted the timescale to 6 for the day to last longer so I can get into a roleplay rythm (also this means you don't get sleep deprived every 5 minutes)

and for the love of god get a quicksave mod, I thought saving when sleeping was no big deal but then I lost 3 hours of gameplay because the ghouls at bedford station swarmed me

this, I made a female playthrought and my brothers and I were discussing that it's believable Nate could handle the deathclaws, ghouls and shit since he was a war veteran so he was pretty combat hardened we even made our own backstory where Nate has PTSD, mainly because of "war never changes" and seeing Nora get killed so that's why we play as an alcoholic.

but with Nora the only explanation we could come up with was "Well she was an army wife, probably republican so it's 99% probable Nate teached her how to shoot and how to take care of weapons and armor (that's why I refuse to use Power Armor with Nora, she shouldn't know how to operate that shit)

Power armor doesn't require any training to use on a basic level, FO3 was the one that added it and only because you could potentially run straight to GNR to get power armor from the start. They added training reqs to avoid a repeat of FO2's 'Navarro run'.

Lorewise, power armor is supposed to be so simple to use anyone can hop in and use it. Other than the controls for the fingers there are no complex controls.
