I know this thread is mostly about OPTC, but what did you guys think of Burning Blood? I finally got a PS4 and picked it up today.

i think it's fun, but even though the amount of characters is huge it feels really shallow. Not a whole lot of variety in your moves and they skimped on including characters like Lucci, Hody, Arlong, or Ceasar, but included Jozu, X Drake and two different versions of Smoker? Marco only performs better than Boa though... Without a 30% defensive buff, he's basically the same thing. Nothing too special. Good special, but no way to level it up as of now: so he's right next to her.

Sabo has a crap load of units to use in teams + boosts HP & RCV regardless. He also gives decent damage no matter the HP, but his previous ability helps heal up quicker. He has better recovery than Marco or Boa + More bulk and better overall damage. Sabo isn't GOD, but he does more damage for longer periods of time than Boa/Marco. Both the aforementioned units require Enel to show thier true potential, and while that isn't BAD... the other legends can just pair up with their clones.

At 1HP the unit is AMAZING. At the same time, the amount of damage needed to shut it down is 1.
If only it had more units to use and wasn't a shitty glass cannon. The only reason it isn't lower is because the damage boost is constant and doesn't turn off like C ranks. It can't touch A ranks who either: Maintain a hefty amount of HP on global thanks to their ship/ability to use ANY unit in their composition or maintain x6 damage from full hp to no hp. Croc is good, but not A rank.

He could be high B tier admittedly, but powerhouse has a lot of hard hitting units with stupid amounts of HP... In the turns it would take for no RCV to start mattering, he'll have steam run anything ranks below him could do.
Double Lucci can go for x6 dmg without doing anything. ANYTHING. Full HP. x6 attack.
Unlike Croc or anything lower: Lucci's team is going to constantly be pounding the life out of enemies with either x5 or x6. Plus 3 turns of higher matching orbs + easily socketed Lucci for higher orb matching... The only draw back is no natural RCV. (Dr. Rcv would cry)((Dead people can't cry though))

Look if you really want to learn the game, you obviously don't understand how important stalling is. Stalling means getting your skills off, and skills are EVERYTHING. This is why Lucci is a shitty unit, and why 6* Marco is an amazing Legend, specially in Forests.
This is why Sengoku is one of the bests legends beyond the 3x boost, because he has amazingly high RCV, Mihawk can rely on the Coffin Boat to boost his HP and tank with that, same with Ace which can reach 50k HP.
But Lucci? He has no boat, and you can't use Moby Dick because he can't heal back that 50% HP, only way is with a Marco which is a one-use and has a pretty high CD already.
You probably have yet to do any high-level content and it shows, because you keep thinking a team can survive with 10k HP only because they have a 3x boost (which relies heavily on RNG).

You can just socket for auto heal and increased matching orb RNG on Lucci teams, Anon.
Also, the optimal situation would give an Ace team 50k HP, so if that is the case, I would like an optimal represenation for a Lucci team as well. It only semes fair.
Optimally a Lucci team can get from 15k-18k.
Now that stated...
You are correct. To stall for raids or froests, you need RCV and a good team, hopefully a boat too.
Though relying on rcv for your stall is MORE reliant on RNG than matching orbs, thanks to socketing. Lucci is easily socketed from his fortnight and will have a +20% for matching orbs from that. The other 3 slots are still open: possibly one for auto heal to make up for the lack of rcv.
That said, most legends outside of S rank do not do raids. So with the exception of 4 legends that can be used in any situation due to their diversity and overall high damgae.
It IS possible, but not optimal. Most people run specific teams built around countering the raid for quick and efficnet runs.
Ace may get 50k HP, but you can't socket him, nor does he have the units needed to make him greater than lucci on global. Wait...
The original image even says global in big letters... Ace doesn't even have his ship on global.
Even in the best enviorment on global, he can't reach 50k hp now...

Candys work different. The more candies a unit already has, the more expensive the next candy gets.
It's also more expensive to feed a unit with CC to another.

It would cost me 210000 Beli to feed a 100 CC unit to a 160 CC unit (same price for the other way around)
