Rather than use Flowey's Time Machine, look up the list with the best farming spots.

I can tell you right now that you will get most of Waterfall done just by walking, and by the time you get to the lantern room you'll have killed most everybody, and you can just run around in that room until the last few are gone.

The same with hotland/the core, you might have 15 or so monsters left over. They usually show up in twos or threes by that point, so once you get to the bridge you can just walk back and forth on it until they're all dead.

Yes that served her character arc but that's literally what determines her personality. The only way she lets you go is after she tries to kick your shit in. Her feelings did affect it too, she tells you not to come back, that's pretty emotion driven. Asgore may not have been sensible, I'm not defending or attacking him, but Toriel just stormed off and whined about him doing the wrong thing when she did nothing, that's what children do. I don't care who you like or whatever but Toriel as a character is very unreasonable and childish.

It is when your a ruler with just as much power as said monarch and when you fuck off for decades at a time without even trying to change the opinion of the monsters. There was a responsibility there both to the monsters and the humans that she wanted to protect that Toriel ignored in favor of her own selfish feelings which is something that is never addressed. I'd recommend bezo's aka xanax and etc but they have a high addiction rate which varies from person to person.
and it's also legit more for anxiety but does help with insomnia/depression to a fair point but like i said all of that really depends on the person in question everyone is a little different when it comes to meds.
