Let me start by saying I love PoE, and I love GGG. I've given GGG over $600 over the years and I truly believe they deserve every penny.

The problem for me now is that the list of much needed QoL features has grown so long that they shouldn't even be considered QoL features anymore. Features that are standard in literally every other game are nonexistent in PoE. Everything from chat timestamps to a "last online" note for friends and guildies. Every hardcore PoE fan could easily write a 50+ entry list of improvements and enhancements that should be implemented...Don't even get me started on trade improvements!

The other huge problem is bugs. I've been playing solo for months now because my irl friend that I usually play with suffers from incredible near game-breaking lag that occurs during combat. It's a bug that was introduced when they introduced a new compiler or something in a very small patch (don't remember exactly which but it's been months). It's apparently something to do with the high rate of redrawing effects or visuals that occur whilst enemies take damage and die.

Add to this the unreasonably high number of game-breaking bugs that are introduced with every content patch and I've just about reached my limit with PoE.

My hope for PoE is that their next major patch isn't all about adding content, but about fixing and polishing the content they already have.

As it stands I can no longer financially support PoE in its current state.

Hi, Guys...

I purchased a T1 Grandmasters supporters pack, in August, 1 year and 10 months ago, (August 2014 (Roughly 551 Days ago)) I uploaded my Grandmaster around Christmas 2014, However after many emails, and many false promises of your Grandmaster will be in the next patch, Since Patch (1.2) EVERY PATCH.

My Grandmaster is still nowhere to be seen, last month I've tried emailing GGG about this problem (Again), yet they said They've lost the uploaded file... and Will upload it for the upcoming 2.3 patch, which, is still no where to be seen.

Then again, my friend "Dethklok" uploaded his Grandmaster a few months back pre 2.0, and his grandmaster was uploaded 1-2 week later, into the Halls of Grandmaster map in 2.0.

The morale of the story is, If you pledge 500 Dollars to GGG for as supporter, IN a FREE to play genre Game, and have the patience for almost 2 years, prepare yourself to be disappointed.

2bh I was using pretty cookie-cutter stuff, I think my biggest issue is that I kill too much, and there's a couple of maps I haven't figured out the layouts for yet. Still, the fastest run is around 2 hours for normal as I recall. Running something like marauder (at least pre-firetrap) was notably slower, with scion being the slowest.

Well, this was a shit league. Leveling is still a pain in the ass, labyrinth is still a unrewarding, tiresome chore, master grinding is still a pain in the ass, melee is still shit, little variety of viable builds for endgame, and there is nothing to do other than mapping.

But wait, now you get to pick up silver coins and spend them on epic journeys where you must google the spawn area of a monster and go back to a level 55 zone looking for a rare version of itself, only so that you can feast yourself with a mighty 630% facebreaker.

Was that annoying? Well, spend another butthurt coin, and enjoy a brand new epic adventure where you must go back to a level 55 zone and slay a shitty unique monster with a shitty unique for a slightly less shitty version of said shitty unique!

Summoner builds are somewhat viable, but slow and they're really bad until you reach endgame. The only decent summoner build (which was nerfed a couple patches ago but still works) is summon raging spirits, which might not be your think cause it's not your average summoner build, but if you insist on playing a summoner build you should look that up. The other option is spectres (which are viable but again rather slow) and animate weapons (not sure if they're reliable, somewhat work). Zombies are only used as a flesh wall to protect you and are not reliable to clear areas, but they have good single target. Skeletons are retarded and do not work very well.

In Duelyst, you still have to invest time into a match you're almost certainly going to win/lose and it's like "what's the point?", especially if you're gonna lose. The new league is boring as hell and worst yet it's buggy as fuck. One of the biggest things making it boring is having to backtrack to low level areas for no prize or having to waste silver coins to get rid of the shitty prophecies. Also, part of the new content is the Uber Lab: something nobody wanted nor ask for but we have more Lab grinding to do now.

As for builds just copy whatever fotm build that uses the newer skills like vortex or earthquake.

Of course vortex damage is good. Not by itself, but combined with the dot scaling off spell damage, of course. That's not the issue here. The issue is that it's not usable because of its garbage range. You can't facetank shit in poe, yet you would have to if you wanted anything to stay in the vortex dot. Except if you use frostbolts, that is... except then bosses will just get hit by the vortex base damage and move out of the AoE while running after you, nevermind how annoying the required setup is, being that frostbolt is so slow and shitty.

So:
-Vortex AoE is shit
-Vortex non-dot damage isn't good
-Vortex non-dot damage + dot is great
-Frostbolt is a piece of shit
-Nobody's getting dat vortex dot unless you facetank

I wasn't sure where to really go from here about this, joined the discord and was told to make a post about it on Reddit to hopefully get visibility from GGG.

Basically, our entire guild has been permanently banned, including people who haven't played at all this league or in like 6+ months. The reason Support gave us was "theft from other players".

Someone in our guild I guess broke the ToS and stole someone else's stuff, and I guess they decided to ban everyone in our guild because of it, someone on Discord (Multiplicity I believe) mentioned that the person possibly used the guild stash to move the items between accounts. So I can sort of see why we'd all be banned, but I figured they could at the least look into it with logs of some sort to see who actually was actively participating in this instead of banning everyone without looking into it more thoroughly. 3 people haven't even touched the game this league in the guild, and are banned over it.

There are many of us in the guild who did not even know this happened until we were given our ban reason. Saturday night we were all suddenly locked from playing with no explanation and Support did not tell us why until Tuesday at 5am, letting everyone know we've been permanently banned.

I don't think it's fair that everyone was banned for something the majority of us didn't have anything to do with, or even knew happened, but Support hasn't been helpful and just giving us the same pre-written responses and saying to make new accounts. No matter who contacts them, everyone gets the same answer.

Is there anything that could possibly be done by GGG, such as auditing each of the guild members to see who actually did this, instead of just blanket banning everyone, when a lot of us haven't even played this year?

You do realize most flameblast builds in the past relied on burn to do most of their damage, ignite effectively being a DoT? I don't know how current elementalist lameblast builds look like, but I assume it's the same, relying on shock+ignite to do a lot of damage. You will not be able to one-shot bosses with one fully-stacked blast, so idk wait "waiting for DoT" is a bad thing. It's extra damage and extra utility with guaranteed chill in the case of Vortex.
