So, was this "uncertainty reset" just a big scam? Or was Blizz overly cautious with how soft the reset was?
People are constantly reporting roughly the same new rank equivalent to their previous ranks. There's cases of people going 9-1 and staying in the same bronze rank whereas rank "1"s going 2-8 and landing Diamond 3. I get the result should be around the rank you were but wasn't the whole point of this reset to let you move ranks easier if you feel you were stuck? Even if you did really well in the placement games?

Depends on how much you play. How many quests you do. What other shit you may or may not buy. If you spent $ or not. It's up to you. And like if you buy a heap of shit and find yourself short on something else, who cares? Just wait a little bit and save. Only way spending gold now is on 15k heroes (absolute shit, don't do this) and arguably 10k on heroes since they seemingly all eventually drop to <10k. But buying 10k is fine, if you really want that hero.

Medivh adds no fucking damage to a comp, basically a support who can't heal, which if you then get matched up with another support who doesn't do damage (lt morales), you've fucking lost the game for your team at the load screen.

I feel like many of morales talents are under whelming and her one damaging ability is overall counter productive to contributing outside of running away.

Heck many of the supports Ults and abilities feel extremely underwhelming. After finally trying out Reghar, I can see why people would keep picking him period. A nice heal, noticable damage buff, a very effect AoE slow. Trait is very neat as well.

Not on your side of things. I like healbots and dedicated supports. Not everything needs to be dps.

The problem seems to be trying to balance things out. Tyrande is a good example because she has a low health pool but otherwise very good utility and moderate damage in exchanged for lower the average healing.

It's just crazy how some of the abilities and ults are designed though. Morales' 25% damage reduction for a shitty amount of time vs switching over healing?

Malf's PLEASE TARGET ME BECAUSE I HAVE TO GET THIS CLOSE ults. Also counter-productive HoTs.

Lili I'm not gonna say anything about because seem's like she's designed for the most retarded of players, and if you consider that, she fulfills her role.

Uther's trait. Uther's extremely subpar melee damage. Dat single heal mana cost and CD.

Kharazim is fun and also punished accordingly. Also a DPS ult people want to use.

And probably other issues I'm missing with other supports.

Only played two but I like it. The ques are fast for the moment and it lets me play a more organized format with my friends who dont have a lot of heroes at level 5. We would often get in with duo ques that would line up to specs and play their own little game badly but we still won. I think most people treat it like ranked but aren't quite as serious. For instance kt and ming bans still occur and people try to get a decent comp usually but they care (and rage) less.

I like Tyrande. She's fun. I particularly like her in dual healing comps where I can go straight damage talents. I especially never liked Shadowstalk.

Yesterday, while trying to level her up in quick match, I got a comp where I absolutely had to go full healing, which meant I would be trying Shadowstalk for the first time seriously.

It's WAY better then I thought and doesn't always need to be used as an escape / group heal. Five man stealth gank is hilarious. ( Ignoring the fact that we let the bomb eat us more then it should have. )

You can't accumulate enough gold to regularly get master skins. Buy a warrior and a support. Don't buy 15k heroes but 10k is fine if you want them. Slowly build up a solid repetoire of heroes you like playing do you can fill roles if needed. Anub and jo are a lot of fun I swear.

How is everyone's placement matches going? I am having pretty bad luck with teams.
Game 1 - Crushed them all game didn't lose a single fort,were pushed into their base with 2/3 keeps down both teams take bosses on cursed hallow, team ignores their guys and tries to focus their base and fail due to chain stun team they push with their boss and win.
Game 2 - Win but it doesnt count
Game 3 - Win game says i have 2 wins but only saying i have played 2 games
Game 4 - Dehaka feeds 19 deaths in 15 mins and we lose
Game 5 - Crushing the enemy not a single turn in on their side on pirates, team engages with 22 coins when we should be handing in, they all die and chests pop tracer rage quits and our kerrigan is feeding non stop we lose

Good sustain and damage. Not great damage mitigation until late game. But most importantly almost no cc.

She's easier to focus down than most tanks and her sustain is dependent on her dealing damage. She works best when there's another warrior drawing fire and disrupting the frontline so she can chase down and whomp on the flanks. Alone she'll just get ccd and focused down.

A little known secret is that tons of tankiness comes from grabbing/stunning/slowing targets. They move away and their ream tries to peel/heal them because they become targets while ccd. This results in no one focusing on shooting the warrior. Sonya runs in and hits someone but her target will almost immediately walk away and everyone shoots her. Jo runs in unstunnable and pulls everyone in and slows them as the flee from aoe/focus from her backline. No one is shooting jo they're repositioning.

Your personal MMR will fluctuate more. You may win then get a +200, then lose for a -190.

Whereas normally you would go +20, then -19.

Idea is to help people reach their appropriate level as quickly as possible, I think, without having to spend 500 games.

So I've just started playing a bit and I have to say, this Unranked Draft is a huge improvement over QM. People are actually communicating and discussing workable compositions.
Rather than just be stuck with a team of Nova, Tracer, Li Ming, Hammer and Zagara who never leaves the bottom lane.
All without the pressure of ranked play where too many people bitch about their MMR.
