For P9 it's:
4* = 500
3* = 460
2* = 420
1* = 380

As I said you'll need a minimum of 17* to get the 285 rating achievement and have a halfway passable bird, and 4* in Speed and Stamina meaning you need both of them at 500.

As best I can tell the only thing about being able to harvest from folklore nodes is that you can cash-in big time at the beginning of a patch like people did with Eikon gear mats. Otherwise you're right you can probably make better money just farming normal in-demand items. So maybe for the long-term it makes sense to get those bigger stats, but I don't know if grinding scrips like a madman is the best use of your time over the next few weeks.

I still find it relaxing and enjoyable, except when I tried to do sands and then I just got pissed off because that market is completely controlled by botters. Folklore nodes are the same though, just that during a market boom the pie is big enough for almost everyone to get a piece.

Train some crafting skills if you haven't and get 60 CUL (and the appropriate supporting cross-class skills), I find it super comfy and satisfying to go out and gather ingredients then turn them into food. I don't know if it's more lucrative in terms of Gil/hr, but it's decent enough.

Again, the issue isn't being new and learning, it's refusing to learn. Here's a good example, in my first weeping city run, we wiped five times on forgall, three of them because the tanks kept messing up the three adds. Each time, it was clearly stated "Succubus needs to die first, and someone needs to tank her, she is marked 1"

After five wipes, someone in my party tells our tank to grab "1", he says "what's 1"

Being new is okay. Refusing to learn is not. "b-b-b-ut its week 2" is not an excuse because these are incredibly simple mechanics, and they are the same mechanics we've been handling in dungeons/24 mans since 2.1.

i was trying to get a drop all last week, over a dozen WC clears, several that never made it to the last boss and a few that run out the timer on her.

i've seen so many groups stuck on forgall because the tanks are shit and cleave the alliance again and again, people not standing in the puddles for ex death.

ozma is usually a disaster, people can't differentiate square and triangle or remember what they do. meteors get fucked up ALL THE TIME. i will just watch two meteor targets stand there, not even stuttering in any direction.

the last boss can honestly be the hardest because all it takes is some shithead tank positioning her wrong towards the end and hair cutting the entire alliance. then he tries to be a hero and solo the boss for 30 minutes before dying and wasting time.
