Not noteworthily so, just keep in mind the tags on vndb. The romance is "light" if you're using that to mean easy-going or cute. If by "light" you mean a quick read then no, it's long and kind of difficult.

To give perspective with other well-known BL titles, it's nowhere near N+C or Omerta levels of edge if that's what you're avoiding.

Sounds like an improvement.
Tatebayashi's route was surprisingly boring considering everything going on. It should've focused more on his feud with Senge or something, and less on "am I fit to be a soldier" and the twins. He's also too serious considering how silly Shigure, Senge, and Misaki could get. Kyoichiro's development was my least favorite of the four routes on top of it. Kind of too otome, although he was at least still competent.

I've finished my first route in Nil Admirali (I refuse to use the "Admirari" transcription, looks to engrish). Honestly, I don't know what to think.

The common route is rather short, if I had to compare it to another game I'd say it's like in Norn9, we get to know the guys and go to a character select screen later.
The pacing feels weird for pretty much all the time, since one chapter (though many times there are quite short to be called a full-fledged one) is one day, with some small exeptions. It's also easy to get the ending you want thanks to the hints in the Yukimichi menu. The common route has only 10 chapters and Akira had 14+3 endings. So the plot in this case didn't even take one month, it made me feel that the romance progress is kinda off.

Akira himself was cute until the shitty plot twist. It's just so overused that it made me laugh. However, I adored the first half of his route, with him slowly melting his ice and being cute at times. Pic related, spoilered for NSFW. Unfortunately, the twist didn't make me care for the latter part of the story. It's not that it was bad per se, I can't really say that it was mediocre, but it's also hard to say that it was okay.

I still don't like the main guy, but Tokimiya is a beauty, this is one of the rare cases where I'd also enjoy a yuri route. The megane guy appeared for like two moments in the common route and nothing after that, but he was kinda amusing. Shota-type guy looks to be a miracle of the universe, the slutty kimono is slutty. The Takahiro guy just appeared a few times and nothing more.

I hope that the other routes won't ruin their guys, and that the plot will get more interesting. The art is beautiful, as expected.

So Akira is actually family with the bad guy (Shiginuma) and a traitor to Fukurou (not that they really care about this, "he has his reasons"). The bad guy wants MC to bear his child, kidnaps and almost rapes her. She confesses about that to Akira and he also almost rapes her and tells her about "having a Crow Tattoo". Of course we don't see the tattoo even once, which is also a shame, they could've shown it during the sex scene, which of course cuts before the action and they're wearing clothes. Just in case, the pic is a real spoiler of the plot.

It's also hard to say. She gets a little better after getting into contact with the real life (which is mostly going out with a guy), but she's stupid. Especially compared to Hinako from Kenka Banchou. Both of them go somewhere dangerous alone to do something, but when Hinako knew that she could fight and would be okay, Tsugimi can't do shit and still goes there. Or she's stubborn in stupid places. They tell her when she starts the job that maremono are mare (excuse my shitty gag, but the books are literally called "Rare Things") and you don't find them on daily basis, but she doesn't understand this. I just can't bring myself to care about her.

By the way, to anons who aren't confident enough in their moon, this isn't a game that you can play with just some knowledge of Japanese, it uses kanji for the stuff that's now written with kana and many ateji.
I've written pretty much negative or mixed opinions till now, but there's one good point, though with the CGs. The introductory ones go into the Others group, which means a little more for the guys themselves.

Early route spoilers: There was an incident where a girl was assaulted in Ueno Park. She has a lilac flower put into her mouth and Shizuru's book was lying next to her. Shizuru uses lilac perfume, also likes lilac flowers and stopped showing for breakfast. MC has been warned by him and the other kimono guy to not get close to the park. She was an idiot that time too, not understanding why is it bad for a young girl to go alone in the night to a park where an assault took place. My guess for now is that Shizuru has a split personality, something like Jekyll & Hide.
I really hope that my guess is wrong, but after doing Akira's route I think I should be prepared for all kinds of cliches.

If I consider that the MC is a sheltered ojousan her being bland shouldn't bother me that much, but her developement is bland too.

I got pretty burned with the sugoroku at Shingakkou's FD. Grinding at the typing game was okay, but missing certain scenes because you skipped a step at sugoroku was such a hassle.

That's the only problem I had with her art for Shirayuki. None of the designs have the appeal or finesse her ones for Crowds(or even those Nisio novels)did. It took a while for me to get used to them and even now the only one I can say I like is Utsuro's.

Shirayuki is a very visually appealing game though and Kinako puts emphasis on the most important things. Like drawing Saji's thighs really fat and juicy all the time. I've never even thought thighs were an appealing point on guys before. It's wonderful.

So this was the lewdest CG in the slutty guy's route.

I lost my will to play this game anymore, but I'm gonna finish it, I paid for it after all. Fortunately, my predictions for Shizuru's route were off, the plot it in wasn't also bad, but it was presented in a really uniteresting way. I just can't make myself care about any of the characters, the romance scenes don't make me feel anything at all, why is this Cero D.

I'll write my next opinion after I finish all routes, for now I can say that it's better to not go for Akira first, since his route has more plot that has something to do with the main premise.
