I got some questions about dark magic for all you warlocks out there. Do all the dark magics in sorcery, miracles and pyromancy scale off of int/faith? And if i use that Golden ritual spear/staff that makes all sorcery scale of faith, does that make those dark spells scale doubly off of faith? Could i run a pure faith build using that spear-staff and make my dark sorcery be extra dank?

DS1 gets you like a 15 minute cooldown on invasions after you get wrecked, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. You're not gonna beat any invaders in the first few areas though.

If you have the luxury of multiple purple moss consumables the poison damage adding up over time can fuck you

They're incredibly weak to physical damage, despite having large HP pools, a simple series of smart attacks renders them fucked up

All their tree smashing attacks conjure red skulls so be careful, and if their tree gets stuck in the ground for a few seconds be very careful to run away or a large WotG effect will end up oneshotting you

If you can, kite them over to the fires on the ground (the burning piles of wood) as it'll do damage to them when they're standing in it

Thoughts on the havel's shield's skill? It sounds kind of mediocre compared to the shield bash. What's the difference between it and iron flesh?

Boulder Heave has to hit with the boulder to cause a knockdown. What will usually happen is they roll the boulder and get hit by the splash damage.

Every so often you'll get someone that doesn't know how to roll and you'll get to chainboulder them.

For pvp or pve? I had a blast face plowing through enemies as I smashed into them with my Sunlight Spears in pve. For pvp only the spears, stake, and emit force seem to be of any use. Buffs/heals take too long to get off in pvp. Maybe some high defense build could pull it off.
