This is the way I do it. The Ballistician isn't important to the strategy, I just happened to have him around. The servant needs either an HP Tonic, a Defense Tonic, both, or just to get super-lucky.
It's important that Odin gets dropped on the very bottom-right tile of Flora's staff range. He'll be targeted while Niles can get the village. Then next turn, Niles runs back over to him, and then you switch the pair-up and drop Odin right outside of her staff range; then the turn after, Niles can pair up with him and they make their getaway. In the image, everything after T5 end is pretty much unimportant, just deal with the rest of the enemies however you feel like.

Is it random? I feel like the game is punishing me for not buying dlc or the other 2 versions. I love getting those weapons.
