I'm a shitter and know nothing about ping to game servers, but why is it so bad? Is WTFast my only option if I want to get below 100? I don't have much trouble at my current ping except with some spikes, mainly just looking to get it lower for smoother 3rfs and to push pvp ladder. Inb4 a bunch of salty replies about "i play with 200+ stop complaining." I dont even care, just don't bother.

BM has trouble extricating itself from a KFM in front of its face. The threat of triple kick and counter into q/e makes things really sticky. It's not that BM can't handle it, but it feels like the ball is their court to try to respond to the KFM rather than having their stuff responded to.

The thing with triple kick vs BM is its too easy for the BM to simply cancel their block into a blindside and dodge the triple kick. Unless you already caught the BM out of their Q/E and blocking after they can pretty much do whatever they please. Without triple kick, you can only get through block with tremor or flying slam. Both are on huge cooldowns and require either losing part of your combo or sitting at a specific range hoping not to get harpooned/strafed. Either way you stab it, the ball is entirely in the BM's court to screw up.

Not him, nor have I replied until now, and this is probably the only reply I'll make because PvP discussion always turn to shit when bnsg starts trying to theorycraft. Compare the difference in cooldowns between Winged Protector and Triple Kick. Assuming everyone is play at perfect ping and has Korean-level reaction times, understands the opponents' class perfectly, BM still is at a normal matchup with KFM. Yeah, WP can block one trick kick, but it can't block multiple, nor can you WP every single engage threat that KFM has.

Without HM Z your options for engaging on a BM are less diverse, yes, but if a KFM can't stall for 9 seconds have Triple Kick back up once more, I have doubts they can even survive an LBM which has a shorter CD and has an easier time stalling (which is what is implied by WP being some omnipotent threat to negating KFM punishes).

tl;dr, in its current state, BM does have more favorable ways to engage on a KFM, but a KFM has more ways to punish a BM than a BM has ways to prevent being punished. Additionally, KFM has more defensive tools than BM does. Winged Protector isn't some magical thing that prevents BM from losing. At absolute worst, given that KFM is missing HM Z, the matchup is 6 - 4 to BM. That's at absolute worst, when both sides play at maximum capacity.

A friend of mine has been using WTFast since last year and has not been banned, gotten a warning email, or even been kicked off because of it. I've started using it in the past few months and haven't experienced anything either. Automatic routing doesn't ban you, it just doesn't let you play.

It's easy to setup. Just connect to the server closest to where the specific regions' BnS server is.

I've only been using Premium in order to save game profiles, so I can't say for certain, but I assume the basic profile would be fine. The only real benefit that Premium has over Basic is the profile saving (as previously said) and server chaining, which is basically connecting to multiple servers at the same time for optimal results, but given that BnS won't allow automatic routing, I assume having multiple routes won't allow it, either.

Basic should be fine, but given that you have to connect to the server manually each time, it might be annoying to reapply the BnS custom profile each time (I haven't done it with Basic, as said, so I can't say how exactly it works. Basic might only save things, or force you to redo the profile every time), and choose the server route again. Shill tactic, I know, but better than not being able to connect.

Try reduce the lag too. It's a bit more convenient than wtfast, instead of 14-days trial they give 30-day one and you don't have to do anything - it works as system service, i.e. you don't need to restart it each time you get crash or something like that. WTFast requires full restart each time client closes.

WTFast doesn't require a full restart. You just have to end the process manually if you crash, then bring it back up. Takes all of 20 seconds at worst.

Winged Protector is the best move a BM has and they want it all the time. The 5 seconds of funtime gets a stretched a bit thin. Ice can wait out the WP effect to, if you're looking for something to deal with it. Q+E or E into something loses out to KFM Q/E. When they do it, you still have targeting on them for a second when they appear behind.

It costs $3.25 via paypal for 27 GB of data, which lasts ~1-3 months depending on how much you play (either they do sketchy bandwidth management or BnS consumes way more bandwidth than a typical MMO). Connect to one of the Dallas nodes and ping in arena noticeably drops. However ping in overworld and dungeons stays roughly the same.

If your specific ISP has routing issues with the game this will also fix it.

They make you install a TAP driver and an executable launcher for automatic game detection, but if you trust WTFast then you can trust MudFish. I have had node specific issues with disconnections. These problems were fixed by switching to a different node.

Sounds decent, my overworld ping is fine, I'm just mainly looking for something to decrease it in arena so that sounds good to me. Maybe you patched BnS with mudfish active? You don't iframe it. You counter it. If you're really cheeky, you take the stun counter and punish it at full range. Granted, that means you're stuck with stun counter, but its good for a gimmick and it makes the BM think twice about just throwing it out there.
