It's actually not that hard to get top 1000 in any short-run (4-5 days) TDM. The big exception being RTDM, people flock to it because of the credits galore.

I've managed to get around top 1k in the tournment that finished right now by doing my regular 3 sorties a day (can't do 6 because of work) plus the refill challenge fuel. Just burnt like 6 fuel last night to secure a position and even then again got a 5x fuel drop so can't say I've actually wasted any stocked. Probably have enough money for the Mobius F-22 but still tempted to get an Oruma if the DT doesn't drop at all.

I decided to try out Infinity again and realized that the MiG-29 skins are finally in the ticket shop, just what I always wanted.

That was quite something.

As for our game, I understand we had problems, but it was a bit expected - in most tests with this setup, we HAD a better result, there were barely any draws and almost no losses. The passing game was our better option (with their medals playing wide, long balls were not good at all). Basically as said in >>145207450, we were unlucky and everyone knows how PES defenses are terrible in this version. We still need a lot of work though, and as usual many thanks for our good lad formation anon who helped a lot to sort things out.

But yeah, a shame about the other guys (especially /nepgen/, that has a lot of dedicated fans), but we're through and it's time to work for our next games. I still think that given the conditions we arrived a Ro16 is amazing, but why not aim to go all the way? Thanks to everyone who supported the team, and let's give our best next Saturday
