I also have two Katana only skill trees (one with average stance and one with weak stance). For the HU tree; you can take out the S-ATK ups if you really want Automate and Massive hunter (MH is good for the bow combo but I wouldn't recommend it on a full katana build since you have Katana combat to go ham without any worries and you have quickmate).

Warcry is 1 point because you only ever need it for boss aggro in an EQ (for example: Ragne spawn in TD4 so it doesn't jump to the tower and it allows your MPA some breathing room to kill the mobs that spawn with it)

Iron Skill is 1 point because even maxed; you're still rolling the RNG system but if you choose to go Automate + MH; you shouldn't die unless you're using PP craft units and get sneezed on by something like PD.

I have Fury combo maxed for dodge into PA for full damage JA. If you want me to post the other trees, let me know.

When I'm doing UQ; I'll take my tree that has MH since it's a pain in the ass when Anga resists Katana and you're forced to go Bow without MH. Other than that; it's about timing your Kamikaze combo. For example; On AISx in TD4; you can just do the combo on their body since they have a multiplier for it. PD's core is also another example since it's enough time to prepare 3 chase arrows and get the combo off.

Basically; great to do it if the boss is stunned if your MH is down / you don't have it on that tree.
