Why is that backpedaling seems to be just as fast or somehow faster than running forward?

I've played as Symmetra a few times in the weekly brawl and I always get into a situation where an enemy backpedals out of my M1 attack and for some reason I can't catch up and reapply the lock.

Snipers are way too weak. In TF2 the Sniper could kill ever character with a headshot, in this game Widowmaker has to headshot a tank like Reinhardt over and over again to get a kill. I think she should have an ability on cooldown where she shoots a special bullet that does three times as much damage. If you give it a ten second cooldown it will be balanced and it's sorely needed to make her viable.

Also, Tracer's ult should do more damage and Lucio's healing needs a buff when he doesn't press E.

A widow has a shot if she lands a headshot while he's mid air leaping. But she needs to land a bunch of headshots with her un-scoped rifle right afterwards. It's definitely possible but good Winstons WILL turn their back to you while they are doing their leap to deny the headshot and they WILL have their shield and they WILL USUALLY land directly on you with their jump pack leap. All of which seals your fate if you don't grappling hook away and have a team mate to help you before the second leap comes up.

If you're good you can make it work though. Widow and 76 are great against Pharah but it's certainly playable. We just have a generation full of people who can't hit a rocket without flying high into the air and firing it at the ground because they're retarded, and if you fly in the air you get killed. Stay on the ground, use cover, and actually aim your rockets at people. It's really good.

There's a difference. 76's whole identity is that he has a rifle that's great at all ranges and can kill an entire team if your aim is good. D.Va's and Mercy's pistols are just supposed to be used as sidearms so you can maybe have a chance in a 1v1 when you're forced to fight. Nobody picks Mercy just to use her pistol, but when you manage to fight well with it it feels good.

But they aren't precise, and can't land headshots for shit. KB+M players are all 4 ends of the precision/accuracy spectrum, gamepad players are only one part of the precisio/ accuracy spectrum, and never precise.

Yes and she can do that regardless. In that case you sit in your bubble for another 4 seconds as your leap cd refreshes and do the same thing again. If you land 2 leaps on a widow she's paper and half a second of tesla rifle damage is more than enough to finish her off.

This is true. But if they are putting all their eggs into 1 basket you get to do the same and you take two Winstons which will kill the widow (and often the mercy too) which is the current standard meta for the pro scene to deal with widow for a damn good reason. it works

Reinhardt? Because he can shield your team from Widowmaker.
Double McCree? To take down the other Reinhardt's shield with M2 spam so your Widowmaker can shoot them.
Double Winston? To have a chance at harassing Widowmaker and MAYBE killing her.
Zarya? To block the first Widowmaker shot if you're forced to leave the safety of the Reinhardt shield.

If your Reinhardt shield falls first, your entire team gets wiped by Widowmaker.
