I've tried installing through ciangel and manually making .cias of both the eshop and cartridge version, even the Japanese version doesnt work. Okay so the guide says nothing about >rxtools and I need some pointers here

What I'm trying to do here is install GBA .cia files to my SysNAND so I can play them on my EmuNAND since they're unlinked, but the latest version of RxTools refuses to both inject FBI into H&S and boot into patched SysNAND

To add some salt to the injury the latest version of RxTools requires some files which just poofed from the face of the internet and are NOT on the "must have" files on the pastebin, so I can't even boot the damn thing to inject FBI and boot into pasta

I'm asking for help regarding Part 1 of Plailect's guide, I have a 2ds that came with a 6.0.0-7U(rough estimate, the last digit was over 6 so I upgraded to 9.2.0-20U correctly..or so I believe), have followed every step to the tee up until the browserhax exploit. Once I'm on the exploit site, a slider appears in the top left corner of the page, I click to the furthest right possible and a yellow screen will appear. It will go through many colors and a menu will appear for a split second before the bottom screen turns red. After which I am unable to do anything but power down the 2ds and keep repeating the steps. I'm aware it is supposed to take awhile but I can't help but feel that perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I've been having this issue for the past 2 days now. I've followed the directions exactly, did many searches and tried alternate "fixes", and all to no avail.

Im on part 4 on the github guide and Im having trouble with the Universal Inject Generator part, it says to use the terminal but I just get errors. Im using a mac to do this and don't have access to a windows. I looked at related threads on gbatemp, one of them had a download link to a fbi_inject_with_banner.app and I though id try it so i put it in my 3DS and then continued the next steps. After a few more steps I wasn't getting the same results the guide was telling me I should have and before going any further I wanted to fix the UIG step. I don't want to figure out how to do bootcamp or wine just for this 3DS thing either, is there a way to do this step on mac? (steps 11-24 part 4 on the plailect guide)

I had trouble doing it on linux, so I tried doing the same thing on windows and it worked fine. I guess it still has bugs on the non-windows builds. I tried to work through the errors when I was doing it on linux with no luck, so bootcamp might just be the easiest thing. It's as simple as getting an ISO and finding a spare partition (you could probably use a USB stick if you're just using it once).

I don't know if you can use a pre-injected one. Hopefully someone will clarify and you won't have to go through the trouble

I tried to do the English patch for AAI2 and named the output file "AAI2.nds" I started up the new file and it seems to work, but the patched file is 43 MB and the original JPN file is 64 MB. Is this normal?

You can use one for a matching H&S version, it's rather hard to tell what version you have though, they're different for each region/3DS type/(system version but that'll always be 11.0 at that part of the guide). Someone else can inject it though, there's nothing identifying to any particular console in hs.app.

I'm slightly surprised nobody's built a webapp for it.

So I moved from cakes to luma (in preparation for a9lh once I can be fucked) and now I can't boot MHX.

I'm guessing this is just something simple I've forgotten to put in since I've been out of the scene for months. Previously it would boot up fine, although I wouldn't be able to use the C-stick without having ran that "NTR software" thing before I ran the game, but now when I go through luma's the game doesn't get past the red lines nintendo initial loading screen and the little NTR thing just seems to hang. Not that anon but it's on your computer and makes QR codes. I havent used that 3ds key site but I have used Shameless. It downloads the latest database and allows you to make a QR code right then and there. You can then use the latest FBI to avoid using any eshop region to fix said game. This means you can now install different region eshop shit without needing to be in that regions eshop.

I've had success with most like SMTIV, but trying to export Devil Survivor Overclocked and 2 Record Breaker's saves causes JKSM to freeze. on my EUR N3DS I can change country by going to Other Settings -> Profile -> Region Settings, if that helps. That being said, I can't pick countries outside the EUR region to test if it bars access to the eshop.

Hey guys, almost done with plailects guide and i had two questions.

I was ons tep 5 section 4 where i had to use hourglass to back up my sysnand with my emunand back up. I accidentally backed it up with sysnand how ever. I went back and backed it up once more with my emunand, but before i continue, will this affect me in anyways? Backing up my sysnand with my sysnand original doesnt remove anything i need correct?

Also, I was using the guide before and after he changed it a day ago. After he changed it i installed newer versions of multiple files, such as emunand9. How ever, emunand9 will not launch from homebrew, and pressing y at start up does not work either, the screen lights up then goes black and then boots to my sysnand. I also tried moving all files from the emunand9 folder i downloaded but it still does not work.

What do I do from here?

Well, SavaDataFiler worked!

When I viewed the cartridge (CTR Card) saves (which ended up being .dat files per each save slot), unused save slots showed an error code (which I presume crashed JKSM whenever it tried to export them)
When I exported every file and imported them to the CIAs, my used save slot was carried over but the unused ones became bugged
When I exported only the used save, everything was golden. The unused ones even repopulated with .dats with the same error codes as the cartridge ones when I booted up the CIAs

I can't launch into EmuNAND9 anymore to get access to the EmuNAND Manager Options. I hold Y on booting, but nothing happens. The system just boots into the CFW SysNand.
