Use all of the beginning player rewards on Carnage (selectors if possible, rank-up tickets, etc) because otherwise the only way to get his biometrics (materials used to rank-up characters) is to pay for the monthly bio subscription. Carnage, at the moment, is the only paywall character and he's definitely worth it and extremely useful for endgame (World Boss mode).

Check the FAQ in the OP, some stuff might be outdated but most of it holds up.

The cards list skill cooldown as a % but in the gear upgrades its just a flat number like +127. Is it giving enough cooldown reduction that its worth stacking from gears or is it kind of shit?

I think original anon means how the repeat button just doesn't go straight into repeating the mission, it takes you back to the stage info screen for the mission and you have to press play again.

Pretty useful all around. It's nothing great but critical rate is good, stun resist is the best of the cc resists, and that's a solid proc. Put it on one of your big damage dealers and it'll up your DPS by a good amount.

I got Proximass to 6* like last month and I was surprised I had enough spare bios to get her to level 60. Won't be able to say the same for HIM though. I did just pour 60,000 chaos tokens on the chest which nabbed me 300+ bios minimum. I was thinking to just start farming Pym bios again, hopefully the new special mission stage makes it even easier to grind his bios.
But congrats on nearing 6* Proxima. She will add one more extra WB win a day and assist all your other attempts greatly as a striker.

Work on Ronan. Useful leadership. Special mission characters are easy af to farm too.

Team Pym should be able to get you a win against Proxima and Supergiant. Use Pym as leader in WB though.

Corvus isn't a possibility due to the lack of Ignore Dodge strikers.

You could also try She-Hulk lead + Nico + filler. Nico should be able to solo most bosses with either Jen or WHO as lead.

Loki team should be able to net you at least 1 win a day. Perhaps use Jane on the same team for the minor team bonus. Jane is quick to run around and kite, her 6* is iframes too but be careful about getting knocked out if it during the wind-up.

Maybe you could use WM lead + Silk + Spidey as a potential future team too. Silk can facetank because lol web shields and iframes.

Dayum, nice. I think I make the mistake of using WW and Daisy with Proxma, but it's just so damn satisfying to melt them that easily. I could never manage to find success with my WW/Daisy/IF team.

I can 5/5 Proxima, SG and Thanos but only 3/5 BD, Corvus and EM.

Ebony Maw's iframes just frustrate me too much but looks like 2.2.0 is going to rectify those issues.

If you can 5/5 Thanos, you can 5/5 Corvus and Ebony, just takes a bit of time. Corvus is just stupid easy for me now and Ebony can take a couple tries on some teams. But the thing I've noticed about Ebony is his iframes are dumb during his 1st and 2nd phase, get him to his 3rd phase and you can win easily.

Corvus isn't really hard at all, it's just the factor of beating the 5 minute time limit. Same goes for EM, not necessarily hard but his iframes just bug me out and cancel my skills then leave my character just standing there to get wrecked by his pillars or some other bs.

Is there a good team you can build around Kamala for WB? She seems like she'd have the sustain to deal with the damage. Who could I team up with her?

The problem with Kamala for WB is that she's too reliant on stunning and guard breaking while tanking any damage she happens to take, but stuns and guard breaks don't work on WB and most WB do so much damage that she'll die faster than she can heal back from it.

If there is a way to use her for WB, I haven't figured it out yet.

Yeah, unfortunately Kamala is one of the characters in that awkward position where she can't really get a uni. The only unis she could conceivably get are the Attilan Rising uni and her shitty home-made uni from her first arc. Neither of which are particularly good, and fans of the character would rather just have her default.

Yeah, Alliance Battle is something you can "beat." Easy to do on Loki days (4 of the 7), but the real challenge the differentiates scores are Speed, Blast and Combat days since they don't have a Loki that can easily beat it. I think Speed is beatable with T2 ant-man. Dunno bout Blast and Combat.

MK is really good, but unfarmable, so it'll be hard to rank him up without spending crystals. Ultron is one of the easiest to farm characters in the game so don't waste any new player rewards on him. He's a solid character though.

I'm not a big fan of Venom, but I know some people really like him. He's farmable at least, and pairs well with Carnage and Spidey.

Spidey is great with his Civil War uni and Carnage is one of the best combats but be warned, you can ONLY rank him up with tickets or the bio subscription, so unless you want to spend $8 to get him to max rank, you'll want to spend every new player rank up ticket you get on him. Alternatively, save up and buy the Mega-rank up ticket for 2750 crystals from the store, which will take a while to farm up.

I'll be honest, I've grown to like World Boss. It's total frustrating bullshit, but it actually gives me something to strive for. Trying to get better at killing the world bosses and trying out different team builds to get more kills each day in has actually given me something to strive towards as opposed to how it was pre-2.0 where you could easily beat 99% of the content with one well built 6*.

This, plus once you realize NM's perspective re:whales (they're not just paying to get X, they're paying to get X before everyone else and burning fucktons of $$$ due to inflated prices), you realize things will always get better for the plebs eventually. Hell, just look at Mega tickets, used to be over 3k just for a single one and they were fucking rare, now they're perpetually selling a Mega Rank-Up/Mastery duo for 2750 a pop, along with 200-bio selectors out the ass.

The whole game is about not getting everything right away, or even within a couple months of playing. Once you accept that, a lot of the stuff they do makes more sense. Plus it's IMO the only fucking Marvel action game with the ideal balance of depth and complexity. Sure, there's things I'd change if I could go back in time and steal creative control from NM for myself, but it's still objectively a very good F2P game.

They drastically reduced the gold reroll fee in TL, you just need to roll like 4-6 times to get someone who gives 70+ points and you'll be fine.
Yes cards are a huge gold sink and grind I admit but once you get a solid set then you're good to go. It also means you can reroll SCD sets off your characters in preference of Attack or Healing sets due to the SCD you'll have from cards will put you near cap.
New custom gear kinda sucks though. I'd love some 100% RR gears.

Moon Knight is pretty cool, he was heavily requested and I guess NM listened, but he IS another Combat.

Wasp's 6* skill is really good. She creates a damage immunity bubble. People have been using her to solo WB and even BO chars in TL.

CW Spidey uniform is the best yet. giANTS uni isn't that game changing and some argue the 1st movie uniform is better but really it just comes down to which design you prefer.
Story mission bio drop rate got increased. Story missions bio limit got increased from 3 to 5.
WB strikers got buffed so they attack more often, making WB somewhat easier.

SC and DL got "fixed" aka nerfed though.

Next update is most likely going to be CW II themed, love me some Bendis event tie-ins.

You'll need a minimum of 3 dodge ignore strikers and ideally 4 to beat Corvus. There's really no way around that because his dodge in his 3rd phase gets to the point that he'll just dodge almost all your attacks and you'll run out of time.

It's worth unequipping 6*s. Everything else isn't. It costs 500 crystals to unequip and you can get a 5* for 675 plus some bonus cards. For 5* or lower, you're better off just using those crystals on a card pack. For 6*, they're useful for rerolling stats on other 6*s.

I just can't for the life of me figure out how to use her. Shes qt af and was one of my first 6* and I love her for that, but its like some 3* characters I have can do more than her. I have no regrets. Everything I do - I do for my favorite characters and I don't care how good or bad they are in this game. This is why I 6* Elektra :^)
I'm just satisfied seeing them completed. I only wish that certain characters were stronger. For example Ghost Rider's skill set are really weak. Just as his defense. I think, that he should be better than this. I'd so like to 'JOHNNY BLAZE RIDES AGAIN' right into that cheeky blue Proxima's face or any other Shit Order character. But I can't, and this is really sad. At least his model looks badass.
Also nobody surprised me that much except for Moon Knight. He's really fun to play and really strong at the same time. I can't get enough of him! His skillset and movements are fantastic. It sure feels very good to crush Proxim(ShoveHerUpYour)ass with a character that I like.

I have literally never not had enough gold to do something since I started playing back in October. This is unbelievable. What's the fastest way to get gold? It's a daily 20-bio selector, I did it once to get a few bios to unlock Carnage and then max out Singularity with the rest. Got him up the rest of the way with tickets later.

Falcon. He's not necessarily shit but his bios are easy to farm. Thor and Black Panther are hard to farm. Doc Ock is good if you get his uni, and Vision is alright.

I'd say use Falcon's next then Vision's then Doc Ock's. Don't waste Panther or Thor's.

Seems to mostly be UI improvements, but they are giving us a level 60 difficulty (presumably) in special missions and letting us fight hordes again in daily/bonus missions. Also giving us that thing where the first option on gear will stay the same on upgrading, which IMO is worth more than everything else they've shown so far.

Side note, wouldn't it be a good idea to only upgrade gears to +1 for now and keep the ones where unique shit rolls in the first slot? I got one with Immune to Guard Break, that'll be pretty fun to upgrade. Other shit you might want to keep includes +HP or +All Def. Most everything else you might want can be found on resistors and existing boosters.

Think about it, currently there's an A-force member for each type but speed, and Medusa is a member of A-force in the comics. It'd make sense to have her take up the fourth spot on A-force in MFF.
