The hardware matters less than the games that come out on it. Consoles were never known to be strong, they were built on the premise of having unique games on weak hardware at an affordable price with unique features. What you essentially want is to turn them into PC's.

The 3 game deal w Level 5 is still intact and they are working on their next SIEJ x L5 as we speak - no it is not Ni No Kuni 2, that is NB publishing WW apart from Japan hoping for more good sales and reviews.
They are also (obviously) making WA 6 and have the original SCE producer for WA 1 and my queen Naruke on board for directing (she's the composer) There is also multiple Sony backed Capcom games coming this year.

So yeah, if you like RPGs like me get hyped.

I'm pretty sure this was openly announced by Sony Investors three years ago. Some Open World action RPG akin to something like Final Fantasy that was being made by SCEJ. This isn't a leak, we've known about this for a while now.

It'd be ok if their servers were better, especially for downloads. My PS3 downloads stuff way faster than PS4. At first I thought it was something with my console, but I googled it and saw a lot of people having the same issues. Sony doesn't acknowledge it by saying that it's our fault for having shit internet, even though their own older console (PS3) has better download speeds. There were some people who monitored the download speeds and noticed that they cap your speed at certain times. You'd think they invest more money into it since they're making bank with all those PS+ subscriptions.

It depends for me. Like yesterday I downloaded The Tomorrow Children beta which was ~6gb IIRC. It took me about 15 minutes. Then there was a patch for some game I can't remember and it was around 2gb, it took me an hour to download (pausing and resuming doesn't help). I even remember some games saying it'll take 99h+ to download. I only have these kind of problems with my PS4, even Vita downloads stuff faster than it at times. Other people suggested to try changing the DNS to google one and it actually does help, sometimes, but not always.

I'd say it's a problem on my end, but like I said, I've googled it and even asked some of my friends who own a PS4. I know not all people have this kind of problem since others are saying it works just fine, but for example my internet speed is 100MB/s. I'm getting around 10-11MB/s download speed on PC and like half the speed on PS3. While PS4 gets 1-3MB/s, sometimes even lower.
