Playing up till level 30 alone or with friends is fine either way.

Dynamic queue in raked once you hit lvl30 kinda made it weird to be the odd man out in a team but that might change eventually.

I sorta like playing alone a bit better because I don't like having friends in a call to vent when I have a bad game or someone else does. It's fun when games go well but it's not always a good time for everyone.

Is CDR even really necessary anymore? Almost everything hands out a good 10% CDR for just building it, and it seems like I hit the cap way too often just building what I need. Meta Golem Build gives you 30% CDR.
So slapping 10% CDR anywhere in there isn't bad.

You really don't need much for tanks, I run Armor seals and scaling MR for AD lane match ups and no scaling for AP match ups.

I just like AD Marks for early trades and last hitting.

And for Quints you can go Movespeed, more AD, maybe AP if you scaling for that, maybe Armor for Rivens, CDR if you need it. Really flexible.

Dynamic queue is fine for 99% of players, and don't forget SoloQ had a much worse chance of you getting your main role. So I guess if you're a masochist you can pick SoloQ if you're gold or something.

It is true that SoloQ is just better for extremely high elo players because it protects from 5-man coordinated teams from sweeping house versus groups of 2/3 players.

Introducing 4 man premades into ranked was one of the worst decisions on Riot their part. Players have been complaining ever since the game released about getting stuck with a 4 man and sometimes even 3 man premade. People even complained about duo queues, they changed their API so that lolnexus couldn't reveal anymore who was duo queue because duo queue people always got berrated.

The role selector is a huge improvement imo but the 3 and 4 man premades just need to be booted AND EVEN 5 MAN. Give 5 man a seperate queue. The only complaints about 5v5 mode from players was that not more people played 5v5. Not that people wanted to stomp unsuspecting solo / duo players in a 5 man premade (which will almost always happen at diamond and up if you're playing at a non peak time).
