the dev seems like a pretty genuine dude, the couple times that I've talked to him it sounded like he just wanted a client with the features that other ones lacked

osb is shiftier, they're all for profit and they slander konduit and any other client constantly. when konduit was first release one of the osb devs wrote up this huge 'security testing' post on reddit saying essentially that it was going to steal all of your details. when really it was just using a non standard port (13337 I think) to do something locally.
