I just started EOIV the other day, did all quests I had so far and the first mission and I ran out of places to go
I looked online and it seems I should have gained access to D6 area in b1f lush woodlands through having a cutter chase me but while the one on the b3 did the one on d6 doesn't and I can't get to b2f

One thing to note is the that the Troubadour's preludes, which also boost you're damage in this game along with giving your auto-attacks an element, do not suffer from diminishing returns. So having Warrior's song + a prelude will give you full benefits from both.

EO3 isn't as difficult as you would believe, anyways. Even if suboptimal, combat monks are not unviable.

What's a good party for getting the most out of chases in EO3? I always avoided those skills because I didn't really understand them.

EO2U was announced 15-16 months previous to its release. Which is funny remembering the teaser site, bcause that means that the "D" and the "X" remained as a mystery for a full year after the tall tree was confirmed to be High Lagaard.
This also means that EO2U was announced over a year after EOU was released, 2 years between Untolds. But PQ was released right in the middle of it.

Medic/Arcanist (heal major but has chaos circle maxed out for drops), and Sniper/Bushi (has all three binds maxed but more often than not is stuck using katana skills for the sake of more damage)
All of them are 70 so I can retire if need be, but I'd like the least grindan possible.

Unless you're doing a chaser in certain games, only normal attacks are affected by imbues. In EOU2 element types can stack, but in all other cases the default element on the weapon gets replaced. Other kinds of attack skills only use the element of those kinds of attacks.

The arm binds work fine, but when there are two of them, one tends to get that Confusing Dust move off and then uses Slice and Dice before I can bind it or get a Prevent Order up.

It's not that bad, though. They just cleave through the party if they get that status move to land

I said this before and I'll say it again, but EO3U should make Form Qi boost fist skill damage/activation rate. Two reasons for this:

It makes sense. It says in their bio that they use qi to heal and inflict wounds, yet for some reason in-game Form Qi just boosts healing power and not their fist abilities. Second reason is it would just make fist/battle medic monk that much more viable.

Either that, OR just give Monk another class skill like "Battle Qi" or something like that. I think EOV's second name system can really work in a game like EO3, especially due to the dual nature of most of the classes.

Just do something Atlus red-haired Monk is literally perfect in every way and yet for some reason you decided they are better fit for healing instead of punching stuff.

Overstacking will result in less overall effectiveness from each buff/debuff, but if you're going for max damage at the start or end of a battle you'll be slapping all this shit down in 1-2 turns anyway.

I was thinking Monks would get exclusive access to the unarmed damage formula that leads to their best damage, and if the 3 tier proficiency for class skills is used like EOIV's other useful effects could get added to that like a typeless effect to standard attacks or a small chance to stun/instant kill. Claws would mostly be for if you're underleveled or other classes not versed in Dragon/Tiger styles want to use the "fist" skill that does slash damage.
