Demon Gaze is a lot newer (since OA is a remake), which means generally better system stuff.

The artists and song composers are similar/same, although since DG's songs are better in my opinion.
DG's story is certainly better.

I would say OA's dungeons are a little more interesting.

System wise DG is probably better, with things like Demon summons and cross-class ability equipping.
However OA retains the classic feel with more equipment emphasis and OP magic like teleport and miracle.
It's pretty much a Wizardry clone.

DG is more well received here as well.

Just finished a run with Gwendolyn on the demo. Her down special windup has minor slowdown but it's nigh unnoticeable, plus everything's frozen during it anyways. Overall though it runs pretty damn well on Vita, and it looks as good as expected to boot.
