So i am playing Warrior on russian server since release, and the 1st July patch ruined my class and few other, as Musa or Plum. The reason of class death is that the diminishing system in game was "updated". Now you can't make the target airborne after you knockdowned it. Good job, Pearl Abyss, now the only anti-diminishing combo is destroyed.
So, the basic of this combo without Spinning slashes and other damage skills was Take Down - Counter - Ground Slash. But for now, as i said, you can't use Counter after other CCs.
Have you noticed the same "update" at your server?

You just grind ahead of them. They stop killing you because they're low on karma. Remind yourself that these people are pussies anyway so they won't risk dropping below zero. Which means you just grind mobs they haven't gotten to yet and disrupt their rotation.

As a solo player you can only kill so many packs per minute so for me it makes no difference. For them the difference is huge.

That's the thing that killed WoW, they had a perfectly balanced effort for reward system, then they catered to the casuals who whined they deserve content by playing.
They added LFG and made instances easier so people could progress, and it ruined the game for others.
You can't do too much, and you can't do too little. MMO developers don't seem to understand this so i doubt we'll ever see one survive.

I think the main problem with BDO is that you basically beeline to 50 without a problem and then you hit a wall, that was fine back when 50 was the softcap because you really didnt need to go beyond that and take your pace.

Then come the expansion and they "balanced" mobs around the idea players had 100/100 meaning about +10/15 gear ... so until you go get that you either farm it or be carried in a farm group.

So I am looking at 2 expansions I cannot do a damn thing because of my gear level being too low unless I go around doing boss scrolls that is boring as fuck for the materials, the pacing of leveling just changes too much.

This could be solved if they nerfed the shit out of the Expansion mobs but then you have the git gud tryhards that go about challenge, the other option would be making gear having less of a impact but they arent doing that either.

WoW was ruined by the raiders mentality, not casuals ... its people that get the best gear and then whine when a expansion comes and raises the stakes because they are no longer Number One.

Raider mentality is essentially what made WoW so popular, people strived to be the best, and have the best gear. people were competitive about being invited to guilds, because to get the best stuff you needed to be in good guilds, and even a wageslave could accomplish this if he focused and was smart about it.

Wrong. What made WoW so popular is that it managed to cater to just about everyone around the WotLK era. As a hardcore vanilla raider, actually being around at the time, I can attest to this. Vanilla had a lot going on besides PvP perhaps. It didn't have the PvP it has today but people enjoy the open world PvP so much they created their own scenarios. Eventually even that was catered to and with all the different styled servers, Warcraft started soaring in popularity.

It catered to casuals (not so much in vanilla), PvErs, PvPers and roleplayers beautifully. It was a complete game in every sense of the word. Raiding was just an aspect of it that you could do but it was definitely not the only enjoyable feature.

Epics became easier to acquire in TBC and even easier in WotLK (this is also when raiding was made a lot easier). WotLK made WoW peak and it was beautiful. And it wasn't because of solely catering to raider mentality. It was because there was something to do for everyone. Dungeon queue, 10 man easy mode raiding, LFR, questlines, achievements, arenas, battlegrounds, all in an open world with a complex system (talents, skills etc.). It was a hell of a game.

Nowadays, WoW is severely dumbed down and the complexity is lost. The storyline doesn't make sense to a lot of people and people are bored of unimaginative raid instances. They abandoned dungeons for whatever reasons so casuals get bored, professions got nerfed, PvP became a drag due to uninteresting dumbed down talents and shoddy balance, and also fucking garrisons.

i follow thta with a chop kick spinslash and ground smash

with the CC DRs it's not easy to pull off and some people have been able to add in a spinslash between the grab and counter. I don't know how they manage that - most of the time the enemy gets up in the middle of double grab or counter so I don't know.

The easiest thing to do and remember is just get behind them and spinslash/chopkick cancel for burst dps. Ultimate Deep thrust is also a very reliable and even cheesy way to stagger people who are iframing or just whenever grab is on cooldown. So many sorcs who think they are gods get deep thrust backstabbed doing this and then straight into a Grab wombo combo.

In every video I see, there's combat text showing when you critically hit, miss, immune, etc., but in my game I don't see any of that. I can't find the option to turn it on. Help a poor retard out.
