I tried slayer out for 3 weeks and got to 65 and did some 397 dungeons with it before deciding I hated it. I have since switched to warrior which i find a faster more interesting class to play though soloing with it is cancer because it cannot crowd control.

Just tried this game for the first time, and holy fuck it's really fucking shitty. I reached level 11 then quit from boredom. I really wish i listened to reddit, when they told me to stay the fuck away from this abomination.

That. Leveling was not hard before. You did red story and 2-4 runs on each dungeons.

Last time I leveled I did red quest, skipped some areas and managed to run dungeons 1 time each for new gear when I didn't cash xp from vanguard missions. And that was not during double xp event or anything.
Guess eventually they will rework story like they did with Arcadia that has 5 areas and you only visit one before outleveling.

Saddest part is you meet some ppl at level 60 who never have played one dungeon.

Why is this a thing?
I've been playing one lately and i'm literally invincible unless I do something fucking stupid, which I can see the case for this being common because brawler feels like a DPS class and not a tanking class by design.

Then again that's why i'm having so much fun with it. I feel like i'm doing all the work even though that warrior on the other end is probably doing 3x as much damage as me.

Flavor of the month classes are always assholes. Right now that is ninja and mystic.

There are a LOT of assholes making mystics right now because they hear the 1.2m/s meme repeated and think they can do it. They can't keep their groups alive and then they blame their parties for dpsing slowly and doing a poor job when they never lent an ounce of support beyond their auras. Most of these people stand around contributing literally nothing. Some can't even keep up their 21 second endurance debuff. I don't know why it's hard for them. Double the time of triple nemesis and you don't even have to aim it. I don't know what else they're doing. Not like they have to cast titanic wrath anymore.

Ninja are just as bad. Five iframes but none of them dodge. Skills with followup glyphs that basically spell out a decent rotation but still most of them are trash. And to boot, most of them are complete assholes. They die in dungeons because they're wearing cloth, and they bitch to the healer about it. I've never seen people blame healers this much in all my time playing tera until now, when the FotM class is in cloth armor and can get one shotted if the person playing it is shit.

Dunno why priest is in your list. Priests are pretty underplayed at the moment. Most are fed up though. Healing ninja in these new dungeons, combined with basically having their role as the safer healer option effectively usurped by mystics, is clearly taking its toll on the class' morale. Finding one to buff you is so difficult that people have made dedicated buffbots. 9/10 parties I IMS have a mystic instead of a priest since all you have to do to be a great mystic is turn on your auras, use an endurance debuff, drop motes occasionally, use corruption ring, heal and cleanse, and stay alive. Most don't even do half this, but their auras carry the team anyway.

How effective is afk gathering with felicity? If I stand in an area and tab out will Felicity effectively gather stuff? Or do I have to manual walk around to get the most out of her?

Also I heard that gathering nodes don't properly respawn until most of them are gathered, is that true?
