Its still very difficult on EUW to boost someone all the way through plat to diamond, also very time consuming. I tried this once I have around 66% winrate or so in platinum level if I play solo but I just couldn't beat the winrate with the guy blocking me every game either losing or tieing his bot lane so I stood at like 55% with him and just said fuck it I'm not going to do this.

My main account is only D5 91 lp with like 70% winrate though (started him out at silver this season) I just don't have motivation to grind him out to like diamond 2 just to get stuck again at diamond 1-2 because from that point on luck factor becomes pretty large. Though the luck factor has been greatly reduced in this season.

WHY? Why is the luck factor less present in season 6 than before? Because people generally get the roles they want to play. Ofc you still have trollers who pick a role with like 21 games played in that role even in fucking high plat until I dno probably challenger. These people always either feed their ass off or tie the lane they only win lanes if they get a lot of allied help early on in the lane OR hard counter.

But still you don't get shit games where you have 3x main junglers who are fighting over the same role, then one goes ADC and another top and they feed their ass off. This happened so much to me last season and I think that is also why my winrate this season has been stable. You know in season 5 I lost FOURTEEN GAMES in a row. I mean what is even the statistical chance for that lol. It was totally random the queue so that the randomness from soloq is gone a bit I'd say it has improved a lot.

If you believe premades are holding you back, they really were not. The people who decide not to play seriously and pick a role where they play as a boosted player are the ones holding you back. Also I dodge everyone who has no clue how to pick in diamond often if they pick shitty 1st / 2nd / 3rd picks it means they don't understand high ELO play

and from every vayne I've seen this season it has been a terrible disaster feeding their ass off.

Yeah she's excellent in silver since every game goes beyond 40 minutes because silvers can't pressure the enemy constantly causing games to be much shorter. So Vayne almost always gets 6 items and in some comps she's good then. In Dia+ though your vayne will be farming, their ADC will be more powerful and they get free t3's if not your top jungle or mid gets some feed. Worse case is if any of those lanes lose (top mid or jungle) and you're stuck with a vayne you might as well surrender then because enemy will have such a major advantage that you can't come back from.

Vayne is statistically a very weak pick especially in higher level of play.

Vayne has on NA 46.68% winrate in diamond.

In EUW diamond, a 46.87% winrate

In KR diamond 43.75% winrate.

If you have a 55% winrate in D3 or D2 do you know HOW MANY games it takes to master? That easily takes upwards of 200 hours in play time, if you're unlucky some more if you're lucky a lot less.

Luck is a huge factor because you can't just spamm games, I never get these people who have in a single season like 1500 games I barely now am pushing 240 games. If I want to reach the amount these players are reaching I've got to play League like 8 hours a day and I just don't have the time for that.

HORRID QUEUE TIMES. Last time I was there I had to make up 1 and a half hour of playtime if I wanted to do a single League game usually, because at some points of the day I was just sitting for 20 minutes in a queue before champion select comes up, and sometimes I had to dodge because lol 4 junglers. It was TERRIBLE! I just stopped really playing ranked at that point and made a smurf because it just wasn't fun to play like that. I tried some arranged teams as well and it really improved my skill in past seasons but the queue times were horrible with those.

At prime time the queue issue is nonexistant here though and you generally got queues within 3 minutes but a lot after that or a lot before that you're just fucked and my roster doesn't always allow me to play only at 19:00-23:00.

If you're like bronze silver or gold you can improve so much that you can't really be stuck there but when you get higher you won't be able to win games if you got shit teammates.

And in previous season the above that I'm describing was much worse since the matchmaking was completely random. Someone who mained his way with jungle to like diamond 3 is obviously going to suck dick with ADC, and these scenarios often happened and then you have a 0/12 bot lane while the enemy had some main adc top who feeds like 1/7.

These scenarios above occur much less therefore in my opinion the quality of the game has improved a lot and at the same time the luck factor has become less. I mean you can just spin a wheel and land 5 games in a row where 2-3 people don't get to play their main roles and lose them all. That's why the new system is much better.
