I honestly think Charlotte is kinda bad as a Berserker. She feels like an Arthur that traded his defenses for more offense, but also lost the skill and a decent personal. I'm not sure what other class would be nice though.

I made her a Zerker and she's still a very situational unit. Her critgame is crazy though. Forged Bronze Axe and Frying Pan are her prf weapons pretty much.

I prefer Malig Knight too, and not just because Camilla looks terrible as a Wyvern Lord. I too like a bit of variety in my army, and my Camilla always get pretty decent Mag from level ups. Spirit Dusts are usually given to her anyways because magic weapons are great in this game.

I'm making her go through Chieftain to get Counter to remedy her mediocre HP when she switches back to Malig Knight. I've found that her first 5 level ups as Malig Knight usually aren't very good (not a lot of stats get boosts Also to get good level ups) and side-reclassing really helps with allowing her to get better level ups. Chieftain should give her quite a bit of HP and Def level ups, and Counter should help her deal with hard-hitting melee enemies. She looks so goofy as one though.

The correct way to play is to bench all the guys and get A rank supports with your entire battle harem, right?

Well DF is good for most everyone, but for Charlotte I like the idea of making her an indirect combat unit due to her paper-thin defenses. Ninja can work because it patches up her skill. Haven't tried archer because I would typically have Mozu fill that role, but I imagine it'd work much the same for her.

As for MK vs WL, I'm more inclined towards WL's higher growth total in more important areas. In Camilla's case her magic growth isn't good enough for her to take advantage of the class growth, and while people love the bolt axe I prefer the mileage from Lances. Also that 10 HP growth can make a bit of a difference since HP is her biggest weak point.

Kind of wonder what units might make a good MK actually. On paper I'd say Odin and Nina have the best chance of it in Conquest at least.

Too bad for those two classes she has to build up her weapon rank again. Luckily bows are great in this game and she has a whole lot of Str to handle those hidden weapons with low Mt.

As for the HP growth, that's why I always side-reclass her into another Axe-wielding class with a lot of HP growth (Zerker on first playthrough, Chieftain on this one) for her to have enough HP that when she switches back to Malig Knight she'd still have pretty good HP. Mag can be improved with Spirit Dusts (Odin doesn't deserve any) and side-reclassing into magic classes. Her HP and Def can be helped with Counter too, which is what I'm going for this playthrough.

For units that would make good Malig Knight, I've heard that Leo and +Mag MU can perform well in that class, and in my experience, Camilla herself.

Her Skl is pretty bad right now but normally she can still hit things pretty accurately. However, she becomes rather unreliable when facing faster enemies, and that's when units with aura skills come in play. She's much more bulky though. Horse Spirit is pretty much her prf tome right now because of the Skl boost. She's the most reliable Spear Master killer right now too, 2HKO'ing them with the Bolt Axe and taking minimal damage when being hit back.

Charlotte as an Oni Chief needs a Frying Pan(or Carp Streamer when applicable) if you're going to try to crit with a reliable hit rate, and while Res seal is wasted on her, her ridiculous HP is great for Counter. She's better off sitting in Blacksmith for a while after getting Death Blow to build up skill and grab Lancebreaker so she can reliably hit against something. Same goes for Hero and Axebreaker, really. I've only tried this in Revelation so I don't know how effective it'll be if marrying her in Conquest.

As for Camilla, my first time through Conquest I picked up a Berserker Axe so I was able to do all kinds of stupid shit with a Galeforce+Lifetaker+Savage Blow combination(with shit like Trample Axefaire or breakers as situational filler), though that requires either a fuckton of class changes and possibly an Eternal Seal(Dark Knight, Dark Falcon, Axe classes of your choice) or buying a bunch of skills and taking at least 4 levels in Dark Flier(since Special Class skills aren't buyable from castles). Brave Axe is a useful enough substitute that won't eat your HP as long as you use a class that can reach A in Axes, I think the HP drain weapons are all Ds or Cs.

Camilla honestly leveled pretty quickly for me lategame since most shit around that point is in the 18+ territory, especially in Child paralogues done late. The only real grinding you'd have to do is for weapon ranks, though I was dumb and tried to get by with tomes until I could reclass back to something with an axe when E rank weapons were usually doing more damage to things that weren't Generals or Oni Chieftains.

Death Blow is decent enough on anyone since it's a crit bonus when attacking that stacks with other crit bonuses from Skill, Skills Weapons and classes(which leads ridiculous crit rates when slapped on a Berserker with a Killer Weapon). Skill affects crit rate, luck only defends against crits, though I think in super early Fire Emblem games(i.e. the Famicom ones) Luck worked both ways and affected magic evasion.

Charlotte has terrible skill, but Death Blow with a Killer weapon has a minimum base crit rate of 45% when attacking, which is pretty damn scary. I won't even get into how stupid Great Club can be, since that thing has crit rates higher than its hit rate by default, but that's a Hoshido weapon so don't expect to see it in Conquest.

Is Basara the only worth class for Lancer? Lance Master seems so bad, at least before getting lv 15 in Basara for the godlike skills.

Pretty sure the priority order is mostly the same(low rates taking precedence, then HP drain skills in the same tier), Dragon Fang would be between Sol and Astra, with Rend Heaven in the same activation rate tier as Vengeance.

I had Xander with both of those skills and Vengeance as a Nohrian Trust secondary when I wasn't using him to tank shit, I could have done the same with Gunter to better effect though if I didn't drop him like a chapter after getting him.

Zerker!Charlotte without Death blow already has retarded crit rates that go as high as 60% with the Killer Axe. I'd imagine she can reach near 100% with the appropriate weapon facing the appropriate enemy.

I actually have the Great Club from VPs but I never use it that much because of the low hit rate. It can get pretty good hit rate in certain situations though.

Honestly, I don't get the hype for Quixotic in the main game. I mean, I don't rely on dodging, but most characters that can get it don't really need the extra hit rate. Rend Heaven already has a hefty activation rate and I fucking hate having enemies that'll always hit me.

I'd say Blazing Yato's buffs are more noticeable since Str and Spd have a more direct impact to battle performance and Def is actually mitigated by the Katana itself and Res is simply not enough.

It's a toss up since Nohr Noble has the better skills since Draconic Hex helps vs the bulkier bosses but Nohrian Unty does fuckall since most units in Nohr doesn't get proc skills naturally. Hoshido Noble's dragon shield does fuckall, but Hoshidan Unity increases his proc skills, so that's always good even if it's just Dragon Fang.
