how do the masteroverwatch.com rankings work? I played Soldier a lot when I was learning the game and was really shitty, but he has a really good ranking. And I'm a lot better on Junkrat and he has a terrible ranking.

What are your hopes for the ranked queues?

I mean reaper has a flatter skill curve than genji, but he's overall worse. In a lobby of complete retards with a complete retard controlling him, reaper will come out better than genji would, but in a halfway decent lobby genji is going to be way better. There are sniping nests reaper can't even reach without using teleport, which is just going to be a free point-blank headshot for whoever he's trying to kill if they're actually looking around. Genji on the other hand doesn't even always need to go up since he has range. Reaper is very clearly the worst offense class, even if he's simple to play. Saying reaper is good because he's seemingly idiot friendly is like claiming bastion is meta or something.

1. Self destruct is weak
2. D.va human form is on the weak side.

To fix this is easy:

1. Self Destruct can now be used at any level of ultimate, from 0 (piddly damage), to 100 (will kill anything withing los).

How do I get consistently gud at wallriding on PC /owg/?

And I mean good. Like, "I just got blasted off the capture point by Pharah in Nepal Sanctum, but refuse to die and climb out of the pit by riding along the walls to show her who's boss of this gym" good.

The controls just feel inconsistent as hell. I'm either gliding off walls no problem or fucking up chronically.

Some fag said to bind jump to mouse wheel, but unless you're spamming it along corners I don't see how that helps you 'stick' to the wall.

the damage isn't her weak point. The issue is that zsd has no mobility, no damage mitigation, and no utility beyond damage.

So I played Overwatch. Yeah, Blizzard made a competent FPS. I think my feeling is that that's just not enough for 2016, in the same way that making a competent RTS or fighting game wouldn't be enough. Also, man. It really, really is TF2. Even the class switching stuff - that also was in TF2. But just generally I really am shocked at what a TF2 ripoff it is overall. It'd be funny to make a highlight reel of Overwatch, and slip in one shot from TF2 and see if anyone notices. I can't believe Blizzard had the GALL to actually use those red desert stone Wily Coyote environments, too. Like they might as well have called the game Tough Forters 2 or something, it's that degree of "we are ripping this off and are making no attempt to even hide it".

With all of that said, I have to assume that it made some improvements to TF2 (although none come to mind immediately). Stuff like giving the Soldier a huge jump "seems" good at first. Also having the medic's right click make you "do more damage" also seems good at first. Generally their design stuff seems like "first draft, what would seem good" stuff. In other words: nothing is counter-intuitively good. Nothing is "confusing at first, but then you play a bunch and you realize that that's why it's that way". Instead, everything is "yeah, ok, that's like the obvious thing I would think to design first before doing any playtesting."

Competent shooter, but who cares. It costs 40 dollars and you can get 99% of the value in TF2 which is free

Honestly? Custom matches and bots. Fuck your teammates, leave them and practice fucking around on the map. I dint know if I'm "good" but wallriding as Lucio feels extremely natural and intuitive after doing so and you get a feel for where you'll fall and where you won't. 2) Fucking yes. The gun is insanely good and may actually need to be nerfed. A good mercy can 1v1 mei, genji, mcree, tracer, pharah. Just gotta keep mobile and dodge.

Ideally you want to save it for multiple people, but you can definitely use it on one person if it will make a difference. Her ult charges stupid fast, so you can kinda spam it

Yes, you have a pistol for a reason. Are you alone with a reinhardt, with a shield between you and a turret? Shoot the fucking turret. If any other ranged people are there, buff their damage first. If not, do some work. Don't just hold down healing on the tank when he's already topped off. Use your damage buff liberally. It helps immensely if you have a mic and actually tell people what/why you are buffing them for.
