It's sad that a basic Bloodborne NPC is stronger than all of Dark Souls III bosses.

FC going on at High Wall of Lothric bonfire, password dsg, signs on the wooden rafters near the bonfire. Lot of signs showing up now so if anyone else feels like hosting there as well that would be helpful for people waiting.

It's mostly because he has a gun that auto-parries you even when you're doing nothing and then just has a retarded amount of HP and attack power for someone with an NPC moveset and healing. Half his difficulty comes from the fact that if you both ever dodge at the same time he'll shoot you as you're coming out of it, and the other half comes from him having a gorillion HP, infinite shots for his repeating pistol and absurdly high damage.

Defiled Keeper is a joke. Just like regular keeper, you can just stunlock it into a corner or hover at midrange and parry it to death. It can one-shot you with certain patterns if you get hit, but it will rarely get a chance to do anything.

My issue with most defiled bosses is that the risk became so extreme for how durable the bosses were that most fights devolved into some kind of ai cheese to minimize risk as much as possible, which consequently made the fights tediously drawn out and uninteresting.

Defiled Amy is the worst culprit because cheesing it is actually faster than killing it properly. Holy fuck, if you don't trap that ai in a jumping loop it takes a goddamn age to kill the damn thing just for how infrequently it actually leaves an appendage within reach

Regarding easy/hard bosses,

What I've found is that to learn the NK attack patterns, for example, you can only fight the NK. And by the time you learn them, you'll kill him. So basically, by the time you would have practiced enough to win, you have already won.

Was considering starting a new playthrough tonight but after thinking about it, I realized that there's literally no more weapons that I haven't already used. Did From fuck with shield stability or how much endurance attacks take? If I guard break someone I still have enough stamina to do another 3-4 attacks, its crazy.
Using a shield feels like a liability between kicks and spamming R1s. You used to need bleeds or split damage to deal with shields.

In addition, they give the player a ton of opportunity to just circlestrafe round him.

In terms of pvp if you use moves outside of just spamming R1 you can do pretty well because no one knows how to counter it.
Actually a good tactic in duels with the dark sword is spam a couple of R1s before he is near you and then rape him with other moves as he tries to parry.
