I wasn't sold on Nohr Noble at first because of how the class stacks 2x weapon weakness against the MEMERIKEN but ever since it occurred to me to use Calamity it's turned out to be a surprisingly well-rounded class.

And that before the game starts throwing invevitable end at you. Xander is still a very versatile solution for most of your problems when dealing with troublesome clusters of enemies, but he can't literally solo the route like you do with Ryoma in Birthright - no one would, the game was designed to fuck over turtling or soloing period.

I am playing chapter 26 of conquest in hard classic. The one in which you have to kill Iago.
My Selena with axe breaker just got killed from a silver axe 7% crit that had a 34% chance of hitting.
In the previous playthrough the same happened, but it was Berserker Arthur getting a crit from a spear.
this all happened in the last room, after clearing the monsters on the left wing and the mages on the right wing.
this feels like throwing an hour and a half away.
