Neither would an accurate representation of semiconductor design be. You'd just be doing tutorials for a design tool. If that's fun for you, those tools exist and you can fuck with them. They're just not games. The second G in /egg/ is every bit as important as the E. Kocklitpop is a p coo game.

/svgg/ laughs at people who think spess games need to be Shuttle study sims, too.

TBF KOHCTPKTOP is a good representation of one half of IC design. Yes, in real life p-channel can only pull up whereas n-channel can only pull down, and both sides need to be complementary or else you get either floats or shorts, but matching up the halves isn't really fun. Not even real engineers bother with this; gate level synthesis is usually done by computers.

i guess that means no ftd then.

I thought you could make a "logic diode" pretty easily? Although if you have to use those you're fucking up somehow. I remember nets had to be 'one to one' or 'one to many' only, or you would wind up with a weird-ass logic backflow.

The issue isn't in how much a unit "costs", it's that the best units are simply too bullshit good. It doesn't matter how much a, say, Kobald "costs", one spawning is enough to assrape a path of cheese clear through you until you manage to chip it to death. By which time another is sure to have spawned.

Basing FP on RP cost would also mean that a highly decorated design that spends loads on looking better but not fighting better gets shafted. We WANT things that look good and we want FP to measure combat ability.

Right now, FP is mostly a measure of offensive ability because it's derived from the qualification test score and the QT ramps up in lethality VERY VERY quickly past a certain point.
Where it's lacking is that: A, the QT doesn't really test ability to hit things. B, the QT doesn't effectively assess defense past "exists". C, the fuzzy wuzzy fallacy is fucking things up because the KotLs are making flawed assumptions.

>Build ship hull using Avorion-like stretchy primitives, automatically nothing adjacency and connections.
>Use primitives again to lay strict grid-based rooms inside the hull. To build machines like engines and reactors, you go close-up and play FtD tetris on the grids. You can also just lay down prefabs instead.
>If a primitive blows up, all the room space inside it is cut at the interface, venting air out into space. Orphaned primitives become a 'ship' of their own instead of vanishing like in FtD and Avorion.

It makes me head spin thinking of how to implement this shit, but fund it for sure.

I have one spider in my toilet or, judging by the timespan of more than three years, it might as well be a lineage of them. The fuckers kept getting on my nerves, because for some reason the slit between the slipper and floor seemed like the most safe crevice to them.

What puzzled me always, is why were they hanging around there, since the only other life-forms ever noticed in the toilet are me and my rommate.

Then I've started seeing Spider3, the supposed grandson of spider1, fucking around in bathroom getting stuck in the think or basin or dish.
The dynasty of shit-eating spiders is probably over now, since I've once noticed a fucktard painfully reminiscent of spider3 being washed down the shower drainage.
>>
>>144010326
not the guy you quoted.

It started idk how long ago because, to describe something as fun is not enough to describe a videogame experience.

imput lag or imput cache in fighting games, or the physics engine (see crysis meme, and replace graphics with physics)
Look at the spaceship physics in no mans sky, the are the exact same as tie fighter from DOS, so i cant enjoy it doing space travels in that shit, no real control of the movement, no spacedrifts, not even strafe like pic related, but some other dont care if the ship works like an acrobatic plane in space, they care that whatever other feature fills the "fun" factor.

TL;DR fun is a buzzword, never use it again in videogames, be more accurate.

Science is a work in progress and I would not exclude the AMT-1 scenario on the behalf of our so-called state of the art's empirical evidences. Although you're probably right in the case where a freaking unknown starship had to crash on Earth, we'd surely understand its material basics.

>electron clouds that interact in the same ways.
But anon that's the electron cloud model theory. Bohr's atomic model wasn't built in the same way so the results were - predictably enough - not the same.

From wiki:

"In the Bohr model, electrons were assigned to different shells. These shells explained the repeating patterns of chemical properties in the periodic table. Using quantum mechanics, chemists can use the electron cloud model to assign electrons to different atomic orbitals. These atomic orbitals are not all spheres. Atomic orbitals also explain the patterns in the periodic table."

So what if a new framework proposes a new way to understand atomic configurations someday ?
>>
>>144026015
>So what if a new framework proposes a new way to understand atomic configurations someday ?

Then we'll have a better understanding of exactly why things happen, but it doesn't change the fact that carbon is still going to mainly spend its time being tetravalent, silicon will still have a high affinity for oxygen and fluorine, diamond will still be the hardest metal known the man, etc, etc.

The structure of atoms are fairly simple
They have protons, which determine which element it is, electrons, which determine what charge it has, with a neutral charge it has the same number of electrons as protons, and the neutrons determine which isotope of the element it is
If you go left to right on the periodic table, you'll find the elements listed according to how many protons they have, starting at 1 with hydrogen and going up one by one for every single element on the table
It'd be one hell of a thing if they managed to create an element with something like 6 and a half protons or some shit

The only real places to go are up, in which case you just get things that violently cease to be themselves functionally instantly, or down in which case wow you've discovered the neutron good job.

Or, I mean, you could pull an entirely new set of particles out your ass. A set that had somehow never been observed on Earth despite acting much like normal particles, to the point of being usable in macroscopic machinery.

A lot of subatomic particles we've theorized about before we've ever actually been able to confirm their existence
We've known that the Higgs boson probably exists since the 60s, but it hasn't been until recently that we've managed to build a giant particle collider and point at the data it spits out and say "Yes, the Higgs boson exists, we found it right here"

Though, hopefully there is eventually going to be some major large-scale use for the things we'll discover by researching this stuff
That's pretty much the whole point of it

That's how we make all the various artificial elements that have names that begin with "unun" and have a hundred-something protons and half-lives measured in microseconds

I heard about some theory once where, once you get down small enough, everything is just something resembling the game of life
That is, everything's just a 3D grid with squares filled in or not filled in, and they all follow apparently very simple rules, but on larger scales they have more and more complex effects, like how in the game of life with the right rules and right arrangement of blocks you'll get something that's self-sustaining and keeps itself moving in one direction
I'm pretty sure I heard this from some Numberphile video or some shit, I'll just go look for it

Funny thing is: we don't know which of things we know is smallest one.
On quantum scale, our concept of length and related ones like size, trajectory, continuous movement and so on become inadequate.
You can slap those to protons and neutrons with some success, it is basically defined by distance on which short range interactions kicks in.

For example, the interaction of two protons is defined by electromagnetic forces for a huge range of distances, but if protons are set on collision course with very high speeds, they will be able co come close enough for the nuclear interaction to become stronger than electromagnetic one, and such collisions will have results (directions and speeds of protons after collisions) completely different from the ones conditioned by coulomb interaction.

For 'smaller' particles like electrons and neutrino, there's no strong or nuclear interaction, so it's difficult to have 'size' in the same sense. And for quarks of which protons and neutrons are made, the strong interaction manifests itself in ways more complex than just changing directions of particles.

And that's not mentioning purely engineering problems of observing such small scale processes and a world we live in.

>insignificant
But you are, anon.
You are like a rock thrown in a lake.
The rock may be small, but the circles reach both banks of the lake.
You may be small. A dust particle, compared to the vast universe.
But the rings, the waves you create with your every action, the vibe you produce by merely existing goes far. Every your action affects universe.
It changes it. Same goes for everybody.
The universe is constantly shifting. Before your birth, it was a universe without you. Now, by merely being born, you have changed it. And you continue changing it. We all do.
>>
>v1.9551 [dev test only] [APS rebalance v1]
>>
>>144092227

But these ripples mean nothing. Whether I achieve a nobel prize or throw myself off a bridge, both cast ripples and effect the universe.
>>
>>144092227
No matter how far the ripples travel, or for how long after you're gone, their consequences will be significant only on a scale of you. The ripple of a pebble is visible in the pond we call Earth, but vanishes quickly in the waves of an ocean.
>>
>>144093125
They both do.
They both would change it in a specific way.
You get a nobel prize, and now papers are printing columns about you, you get your own article in wikipedia, in some schools people will hear your name.
Result: The universe has 1 more anon with nobel prize; more people heard about you; more papers talking about yet another guy with nobel prize.

Now, you threw yourself off a bridge.
The universe now has one less anon. Some people will mourn. Perhaps, you'll miss out on something.

>>144093125
Indeed.
But the thing is, we are all a part of something bigger.
A drop in the ocean.
but what is an ocean, if not a great multiplicity of drops?
>>
>>144093474
They both change it in a specific way, but as >>144093326 said, they are only significant on a scale involving you, and maybe your community.

Compare those achievement to the trillions of plantets, around trillions of stars, in billions of galaxies and it's the same effect as one interstellar dust particle colliding with another

Look at this.
This is all dust.
Take one away and you won't notice the difference.
Continue removing it and eventually you will erase this nebula, particle by particle.
If we will start thinking we are insignificant, we will remove ourselves from the universe. A loss so small, the world will hardly notice. That's the case of one person.
One person thinks "I'm but a space dust" and steps off a bridge.
Other thinks " This won't change anything" and bites the bullet.
Third one decides to fly off a skyscraper.
And eventually, you'll see a ghost town and a mass suicide in the news.

You can find all the framework versions and variants, and reinstall them.

Also, have all this shit?
Its not the 1st time that a new game is fixed by the 2005 visual because shit devs.

3.6 4.0 and i think there is another main framework, find the standalone installers and repair the setups, maybe... and i repeat, maybe it could work.
>>
>>144094329
2 points about that: firstly, even if everybody on earth died, it is still too small of a scale to effect anything much larger. All we would leave is a dispersing shell of radiation that would quickly become unnoticable as it blends with everything else the universe emits.

Secondly, I would never jump off a bridge. The fact I'm so small in relation to everything only means that I should focus on me and the things I love. Just because the universe doesn't have a purpose for you doesn't mean you can't have a purpose for yourself.

I'm enjoying this conversation btw
>>
Even a nebula is insignificant in the cosmic scale, anon. If you are to live, you should live for you, as that is the only scale in which you matter.

I am enjoying it too, anon. Too bad I had no fucks to give about our philosophy course.

>even if everybody on earth died, it is still too small of a scale to effect anything much larger.
Would it not affect our system? The solar system would essentially become dead. Or, at least, there would be a whopping one planet less with a life (sentient one). Another dead system.
Mayans, Aztecs, Egyptians (those, who built pyramids) all died out, gone, mostly forgotten, all happened centuries ago. Yet we still see the waves, up to this moment. And we still think about it. I wonder if they ever thought "What will be after us? Will we leave a trail in the sand of times?"
There's no telling how far our waves will go. From our point, we can only see so far.
To see all of them, we would have to travel far and away.

Physics: How it moves? How it works?

The two really complete each other.
>>
>>144095381
It really depends on if you see life as something special or not, which may be where we diverge the most. I see life as mechanistic, we're the sum of our cells, which are the sum of their organelles, which are the sum of their proteins and chemicals. We are complex, but the universe doesn't make any special provision for life or what we are made of. One arrangement of matter is ultimately the same as another.

As for the dying out of civilisations, we do still see the waves, but again they are localised to the community (in this case the earth). They are also civilisations, not individuals. There would have been very few individuals in those groups who could have meaningfully shaped the development of the whole, which brings us back to the original point.

Sorry if it sounds a bit weird, I'm typing on my phone at 2:30am.

>>

>how else are you supposed to know something if you don't ask?
>asking yourself instead of someone who could answer the question.
there are definitely philosophical questions that can be answered by introspective analysis, but "what is space and time" isn't one of them, unless you're a theoretical physicist.
>>
>>144097346
>what is space
>what is time

Here is where the shit hits the fan.

We use words, or maths to describe or measure everything, but sometimes something does not need to be measured that way, if you understand that everything is related to everything somehow on a different level (chaos theory) you will think outside the box more often.

I cant really describe space, but from what ive learned, time is gravity, both are tied very hard, more gravity means the time will run faster, but since we cant also describe gravity, we cant describe time, but the corelation will help to start to understand it.

Cheers man. I'll post a passage from Consider Phlebas, a really good novel from Ian M Banks. It made me think a bit.

"Who are we?
Who we are. Just as what we're taken as being. What we know and what we do. No less or more.
Information being passed on. Patterns, galaxies, stellar systems, planets, all evolve; matter in the raw changes, progresses in a way. Life is a faster force, reordering, finding new niches, starting to shape; intelligence -- consciousness -- an order quicker, another new plane. Beyond the unknown, too vague to be understood (ask a Dra'Azon, perhaps, and wait for the answer)... all just refining, a process of getting it more right (if right itself was right)...

And if we tamper with our inheritance, so what? What is more ours to tamper with? What makes nature more right than us? If we get it wrong that's because we are stupid, not because the idea was bad. And if we are no longer on the breaking edge of the wave, well, too bad. Hand in the baton; best wishes; have fun.

Everything about us, everything around us, everything we know and can possibly know of is composed ultimately of patterns of nothing; that's the bottom line, the final truth. So where we find we have any control over these patterns, why not make the most elegant ones, the most enjoyable and good ones, in our own terms? Yes, we're hedonists, Mr. Bora Horza Gobachul. We seek pleasure and have fashioned ourselves so we can take more of it; admitted. We are what we are. But what about you? What does that make you?"

"Make you think"

Exposing yourself to new concepts that you can apply to what you already know, how you act or think, to better yourself.

"Make you think" doesn't mean force you to think something, or to base what you think around it. You apply what you exposed to to what you already have, and come out with new or modified knowledge and ideals.

It's not that gravity and time are the same, but space and time are the same, hence the fabric of the universe being called "space-time"

You're thinking of time dilation, the effect gravity has on spactime. One thing you have to realize is that while "space" as we think of it is just 3-dimensional, spacetime accounts for the fourth dimension.

but anon, what is an object?

you look at an object and say it's made of atoms and has some arbitrary values like temperature and mass. if you dive into the atom, you find out that it's not actually a physical sphere with arbitrary values but rather consists of tiny particles bound or orbiting with eachother defining those values. the atom has mass because it has a certain number of certain particles. look closer at those particles and you find what they consist of, et cetera until you reach purely hypothetical elements. what do you assume they would be made of? in the end, what's the lowest thing we can find? how far down can you go? will it eventually end in some kind of binary system, or do the particles fold in on eachother endlessly like a horrible four dimensional fractal? is the universe just the result of putting a relative time or space into an equation, and in that case is logic and math actually defined by something lower? can you find a sort of proto-logic if you look really hard at logic? what is that then made of? are aliens behind it?

>but anon, what is an object?
All things that possess mass are objects, in this case, so it doesn't really matter.

>inbefore what is thing
>what is what
>what is is

A far better stupid question would have been "what is mass", which is basically the property of things that relates to gravity, which I just defined in terms of mass.
All the laws of physics are based on observation. At the end of the day, "gravity" is just something made up to explain how matter behaves. And the reason people still talk about it is not that it's some cosmic property of the universe, but that it works pretty well. Objects attract each other, and whether or not this information is actually true, it is absolutely vital to know if you want to, say, get a rocket into low Earth orbit.

As for the true nature of matter, well, Demokritos said that it's all composed of these tiny, unchanging particles that can fit together in different ways. Plato said that the so-called physical world is actually just the shadows of the ideal world. Aristotle said that it isn't "made" of anything, it's just matter. Take your pick.

Before I go get food I want to ask something of /egg/, about From the Depths and it's cannon changes that happened a few weeks ago.

I really think that [forgot his name] listens a little too much to everyone on the forums, and by adding two seperate cannon systems that it just made unneeded complexity. I was really hoping that the adv cannons would be a total replacement to the old style cannons.

I also think it's falling into the same issue that Starmade falls into: If your not building the biggest ship why even bother. On top of rediculous shell sizes(I firmly believe it should be capped at 400mm at the most.) small ships get slapped silly, even if you padded it with shields.

Maybe I'm just a pleb who doesn't like change or adapting, but those are my thoughts. What do you fellow FtD players think?
>>
>>144123620
>all games use rocket science for movement besides some ways to do a gravity drive ship
They don't, though. For one thing, I've yet to see a space strategy game that had anything resembling Newtonian motion. Like, we're talking space represented as a two-dimensional grid, with each tile movement taking the same amount of fuel regardless of any mass points in the system, or the ship's previous heading. That's not rocketry. That's sailing.
>>
>>144125401

It is overly complex but I feel like that's the whole point. My main problem with advanced cannons is there's no obvious feedback about how the different custom shells are behaving, short of setting up a firing range to test them all yourself and see the direct difference between AP head, squash head, etc etc. There are so many options and everyone seems to base their shell designs on anecdotal evidence or what seems what might roughly be right. I honestly don't know how to tell whether I want HE body or solid body or flak body or whatever billion other kinds there are.

Admittedly, I haven't really touched the campaign since localized resource went in, but here's my five cents:
Small fast fliers fielded in vast numbers are the way to go.
By discarding nearly all armor, one can put more tonnage into guns without increasing encumbrance.
Given that missiles and cannons have relatively low accuracy or projectile velocity, a fast flier will be innately resistant to these.
Having large fleets of small vessels (+50 vessels of 200-800 blocks) provides mid-battle reinforcements, and still secures a large fraction of blocks in battle.
When engaging enemy fleets, do so only when blockaded. This ensures a minimal travel time for aforementioned reinforcements, and lets you capitalize on massive short-range firepower.
I quit a few hours into my second campaign, after rolling over DWG and OW, despite being at war with literally every nation on Neter.

>I've yet to see a space strategy game that had anything resembling Newtonian motion
Check out Star Ruler (1 & 2).
Unlike its predecessor, the latter installment assumes all thrust to be forward-facing and fixed, requiring the ship to rotate before it can brake.
Admittedly, this implementation isn't as consistent as I'd like - but it is none the less Newtonian.

You mean hurling relativistic objects at the other planet? Because that's what it boils down to. You can't maneuver en route to something. You can't change course effectively to go elsewhere. There is no dogfighting. There is no reason or way to operate capital ships. It is quite literally nothing but 'travel between Orbit A and Orbit B in an incredibly obvious craft detectable from across the solar system' and if anyone wanted to shoot you they could and it would be easy.

Realistic space combat is horribly boring. Ships cannot carry the astronomical ∆v required to change that. It's like fighting a ground war where the only terrain is wide the fuck open flat desert and the only weapons and vehicles are jeeps and howitzers with guided shells.

As it should be. You do know the definition of a capital ship, right?

If al ships in a fleet except the capitals are sunk, the fleet is still perfectly capable of fighting. If ONLY the capital ships in a large fleet sink, the fleet is irrevocably doomed. This is how it's always been. A DD has never been able to and will never sink a BB. I don't understand wanting to change this.

I think CRAM was fitting replacement to CCs.
Size i think became more of an issue when armor was changed which made missiles ineffective which were the go to weapon for small craft, the alternatives either have a lot of recoil or cannot be fit on a small craft.
Small ACCs have been nerfed in the latest devtest though that is still undergoing changes.
This only really applies to things under 70k RP or so i don't think you have to build huge battleships to be effective.
I think a lot of these problems will be addressed as more things get added.
Nick is making a lot of changes mostly as a result of the cheesy Neter designs that have been generating a lot of discussion, things have gone way out of hand with those.

Decoys are weird in space. You can detect something by their rocket plume, not only that but using FISIKS you can get a lot of info out of a plume (things such as mass, engine and fuel type..) So basically the only way to decoy a ship would make a ship of the same mass which is kinda dumb because if you are trying to hide a big ship you need big engines, lots of fuel etc..

>>
>>144139154
If said projectile has propulsion it can keep track of you while changing aceleration to where the fuck it wants and you will have a hard time keeping tabs on it. So the decoy calls attention, the enemy still can see the decoy, and the main ship doesn't call as much attention, but still can be seen (everything can be seen :^) )? Well if I was the enemy I would definitively find that suspicious.

And developing a counter is definitvelly harder than making a weapon. So you'd probably get hit and then make a counter. (You have to know what you are figthing to counter it right?)

it's not fully at RTS level; unless you're playing multiplayer with friends you WILL be entirely alone.

it's definitely 100% autism base building through and through, so if you liked building walls, dropping concrete, and placing turrets in Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun or other RTSes, you'll love Factorio (since you absolutely must do the same 3 things there as you're alone, and can't defend a large factory by yourself or even with friends)
rediculous genocide becomes tedious after a while once you hit all the good technology and can instagib groups. most of the time you'll be turret crawling/turtling your way forward.

right now it's basically the same thing each end-game, but the starting and middle game can be different based on how easy resources are to access and what the native life does.
protip: desert starts are hard mode. every biter nest will instantly be hit by pollution that the desert doesn't absorb and you'll be attacked from all sides constantly. probably a forced game-over.

Major:
- Trains with dimensions that make sense physically. Now, they're grid-aligned format so they're the same size vertical as horizontal, making train stations easier to build/manage.
- Railway streamlined so that you can see where to place train signals and stops, which could previously be placed anywhere and caused confusion to how/where they worked.
- A new inserter that moves large quantities at once, making loading/unloading much faster, and can be upgraded to improve holding capacity to nearly fill the fastest belt to capacity. (other inserters don't get this upgrade)
- FLAME THROWER TURRETS AND FIRE UPGRADES.

- FOREST. FUCKING. FIRES.

No, an asteroid entering the atmosphere turns into an extinction-level event

A meteoroid entering the atmosphere is a meteor, and is a meteorite when it's on the ground.

Asteroids are huge and are considered minor planets, many kilometers across. The bigger asteroids (like the ones so big that their own gravity starts making then round) are planetoids.

Okay, 24mm sabot sabot solid 5x GP spam is still the best, even though now you have to hit a missile twice.

36mm ap variant oneshots missiles, but almost never hits, because of repeating fire debuff.

Why does every decent fucking autistic engineering game have to be in early access and made by a few people working out of a shed or something
>>
>>144220319
Look at the ones that get "released"
>>
>>144220319
Not enough mainstream appeal for a visionary to come along and make a good game in the genre with a reputable and established company willing to invest in it.
>>
>>144220319

Absolute maximum audience size of a few tens of thousands of people globally.
>>
>>144220687
Yeah, a lot of them are early access titles that fell through because, as it turns out, you only get to release a game once

>>144221241
I blame banjo-kazooie nuts and bolts. That game had the right idea even if it was obviously a lot simpler than something like FtD, but since it was shitting on the corpse of a dead franchise nobody was going to make another game like it. There's probably some other games like it that I'm not remembering but that's the only block based vehicle building game I can think of had that had a big publisher behind it.
>>
>>144220319
Because the "released" ones are magnitudes worse.
See: Space Engineers, Medieval Engineer, Kerbal Space Program, etc.
>>
>>144222721
Space engineers and Mengies aren't out of alpha, and they are still in early access.
>>
>>144223149
Does it make any difference?
>>
>>144222440
I don't know about that, From the Depths has 130,000 owners according to steamspy and it definitely doesn't have AAA production quality. If someone like Valve shat out a game similar to it I imagine a lot more people would be interested solely because it would look a lot more polished and not just because valve would be making it.

>>
>>144223728
But it makes absolutely fucking zero difference if a game like that goes off early access. Take Kerbal Space Program, for example. "Release" changed exactly two things: The version number to a brand new shiny 1.0, and made a whole bunch of idiots excited because they saw it "released", as if that would signify any change in quality whatsoever. It should actually be a *bad* thing, because most released games should start getting less and less updates after their release.

You know the easy automation script?
its like its name say, an easy way to write script to control shit like

@expandong{
Velocicy of Dong = 10
When angle of erection is = 45d
Write to DongLDC Expanded
}
dong is a piston and erection a rotor or a set of rotors
and you can set that codeblock on a button or whatever.

When I first looked at that I thought her knee was a really weird titty
I had to stare at that for probably a good 15-20 seconds to actually realize what it was

What's wrong with me

4chan has corrupted my mind to the point where anything can be sexualized, and the lines between things blur sometimes. That might be whats going on.

At first I didn't even question it because it said "loving tigers."
I mean, it didn't even occur to me that something might have been off about that, I just went and looked at the next panel
Then I went back to looking at the first panel and thought "Hold on, that's a tiger, I've never seen a woman do something like that with a tiger before"
Then I thought "Wait a minute, this is maybe close to bestiality, normies don't even like that sort of thing", and thought that it might have been a troll of some sort
Then at some point I noticed how weird it looked, and then I probably thought it might have been a photoshop at some kind before finally noticing that it's a fucking knee

A fucking knee

And this whole process didn't happen quickly either, no, about 5 seconds or so passed between each step
So it took me about 10-15 seconds to even notice that there might have been something wrong about a picture of a woman showing her tit to a tiger

A look at the first HQ for CotE, Port Scramble. This is the port where the light Thistle attack craft is made. It just needs AA guns and a paint job.

The best way to learn to build boats is to build them in vehicle designer. And to spawn in enemy boats to see how they make theirs.
Does anyone have the boat building infographic saved? I'm posting from my laptop while I recover so I don't have it on me.

It doesn't need to be very sleek if you make it for early era /egg/heim. You could even make the 72 guns CRAM for higher combat effectiveness. In fact, if you fiddle with the Naval AI you can probably have it keep a decent distance (possibly even outranging enemies) while broadsiding, making it pretty damn effective. Don't let your dream be a meme anon, make it reality.
>>
>>144283114
No, their update strategy changed from "let's fix some bugs that really piss people off and a few incredibly trivial ones to pretend that we still care about spengies" to "let's make pretty pretty particles and ignore all the important clang."

How do I into color an light scheme for this?
it's 400 meters long

Also can I get darkness back to actually being dark? I miss walking through my ship when the main reactor is off and the sun moves so the solar panels die and all the lights go out making it creepy as shit.

red and black
black with dark purple and neon purple trim.
white and gold
light blue, navy blue, and white.
mottled browns, oranges, and golds.

Those are some usual color schemes.

So I figure this is the best place to ask.

Is there a reason my turrets arent firing?

They're set to engage all target, but humping wildlife isn't getting them to fire.

But as you can see, when remote controlled they fire fine; having plenty of ammo and all.

Changing faction and briefly controlling them does not help.

I'd swear they were working last week though.
