It's not a lie, the base dmg given the number of hits is very nice, so long asy ou carry a mace around itll still deal respectable damage even at level 1 and especially on plants as that's another +100 dmg for every hit. The biggest problem with Carve comes from shit ping/lag, as not all the hits will register then.

Also, the +50% from crits multiply from the +320% from, not stack.

Remember from RO, when using Hydras + Skeleton workers gave better damage than using 4 Hydras? It's the same math here. Different types of boosts multiply, not stack.

50% crit over 320% boost is 3.2x1.5.

For the most part, yes. Sept, Lunge are multihits.

The idea is that you have a lot of skills on rotation, including a 0 cooldown one. You'll be dishing out damage constantly.

I forgot to mention, you should get a bit of SPR as well. To maximize your DPS, chugging potions won't be enough to keep you spamming. It's better to have a higher pool, and some sp recovery. get SP recovery hats/gear.

people are so used to the "swordsmen are complete shit" memes that they don't even know the context in which those memes exist or came to exist. they've been memed into thinking that swordsmen must do no damage and take years to kill something right from level 1 and all the way throughout the entirety of the game. then when they come to find me in their siauliai group they're perplexed at what they're seeing.

swordsman is shit once inflated health pools become a big thing, folks. that means they are shit at level 200 and above (and arguably a bit before that too). they can actually do pretty decent damage in the 100-175 range, if built well. I keep finding people that are shocked when they find this out.

I kinda stopped playing with them but i heard she got Scout and then Archer again for whatever reason.

So you retards recommended Sword Art Online as grinding entertainment (with suggestions only to watch season 1) and I finally got around to getting into it when I rerolled my swordsman. I knew from memes Kirito eventually dual wielded but he didn't start doing it until like two episodes ago. I'm on episode 13 and this just suddenly got really retarded, they met some downs syndrome child that looks 10 but talks like she's 2 and is somehow going to be their daughter?

Does this retardation end and go back to being a decent anime again soon or did this just become a slice of life that happens to be an MMO?

And if I have to drop this, please suggest something else. I'm about to start truffles and will need the distraction to not completely lose my mind.

cryo tree is worse than being linker 2 later on simply due to cooldowns. People don't ask for "cryos" for their parties for grind. Chrono is great, but Cryo isn't.

Not with linker and thauma, it farms well. The base damage is terrible on all of the abilities except only for one. The idea is use linker and thauma buffs to carry it far and swell body makes you farm materials for alchemist faster.

Best builds for alchemist:

Can solo effectively even in the 220 range with decent gear. You are wanted in grind parties do to 8 target linking. You don't help Elementalists that much but for archer parties you are great. Firewall and Fireball combined with Flame Ground are all multi-hitting abilities and with a good rod and arde you are to farm well.

This is the best for alchemist.

This is the build to help elementalist and any spec that deals multihits. It's no joke how much over 400 or so magical / physical boosts up multi-hitting abilities of an elementalist. Also swell body to gain more Dilgele and drops is amazing.

Transpose in grind parties as a FULL INT build uptime 100% will guarantee you will never die either with 30k health. Your buffs also help any party and being a linker means you can solo and help the group.

>Pyro3/Thaum or Linker
This is a solo AoE farmer. One rank of thauma combined with a firewall and flame ground and pillar for a lot of multihits. You will have to invest heavily into gear to survive since you have very little CC, but it is possible to solo even in 220 range.

Thau is great for an alch to help you farm the Dilgele you need. Many here either know this and want to keep it a secret.

Linker helps you more. Basically you go Linker 1 or 3, never just 2. Being able to hit 5 mobs later on in the 220 range is enough for solo. There are maps in the game where you won't solo anyway. Not without the insane damage a full DPS build can do like Elementalist C3 with Wiz C3 and even they struggle.

Thauma gives you 200 or so more magic attack. It's no future proof but every ability you have. Transpose makes a full INT build tanky and it also is a healing ability. The goal is also to get swell body for farming. That's it.

Transpose > Campfire > Sit down for 10 secs > fully healed when you right click transpose off. You turn your 300, 400, 500 or 600 INT (late game) into 300, 400 etc. CON and as such into HP / sec. Sitting down on a campfire means healing yourself up super fast.

This is the best alchemist buy you can for some solo potential.

Pyro 2: stable early circle, 100% uptime extra atk line (enchant fire), fireball 10 never falls off, 100% uptime flame ground and fire pillar to burst.

Linker: Obvious.

Thauma 1: here you have 200 atk/matk bonus to your multihit skills and partyand a skill to double your farm of materials (swell monster = 2x loot).

Optional: Pyro 1 linker 2 thauma 1 or pyro 1 linker1 thauma 2.

Imo, linker 1 thauma 2 is the best to do something on parties, 500 atk/matk for everyone is almost the same difference of going 0 str or 7:1 str/on.

Never put more than 1 points into Enchant Fire idiot. It's only good for that one extra damage line, nothing else.

Flame Ground base damage goes up very little and duration only 1 second per skill up. 20 seconds is more than enough. I've played Elementalist and 20 seconds is already too long duration. If something isn't dead in that duration you're doing something wrong or your gear and stats are terrible.

Flame Pillar increases in size with level, but flame ground as far as I know doesn't. Take points from there and points from your Flame Ground.

Fire Wall is terrible only because it needs heavy skill investment so it hits multiple times.

Level 10 fire wall is 6x tiles. All tiles hit 12x times. That's 6x12=71 hits. More if you do your linking and kite around the wall with flame ground also multi-hitting.

Don't go Linker 2. You either go LInker 3 or not at all. 8 targets is seemingly overkill most of the time, but if you want to then by all means. I'd instead take one circle of Thauma to make all those hits of your spells deal 220 more damage each time and having transpose and swell body for farming materials for your potions.

Firewall at 10 is good enough and there's no reason to have Fire Enchant more than 1 skill level. Yes 100% uptime might be great you think but late game you will stop using this ability entirely because you wont be auto attacking at all, ever. It's only for early leveling with Pardoner buffs, that's it.

Fireball 10 is not needed if you go Pyro C2. Split some points into Firewall as a linker and you won't be disappointed at all. Having two abilities to use is better than having fireballs left behind all the time.


If you go Pyro C3, I suggest using this guys build. If you are Pyro C2, split your skill points between wall and fireball.

The only mistake you did was go Pyro C3. Hellbreath is terrible and all you gain from that circle is more hits to your already multi-hitting abilities that have low cooldown. Pyro's base damage is terrible.

I suggest if you are Pyro C3 to take one point in hellbreath as it is rumored to gain a buff of 50% more fire damage in the future.

Linker is more future proof.

Thauma is more farming and gives a pure INT build a nice stat swap into tanky / self healing and farming materials faster.

Pyro2Link1Chrono3 is good for pve/sologrinding. People roll for cryochrono for pvp and cc. You can go thaum3 for farming but don't expect good buff damage until you've sunk in millions for the thaum attributes.
