I love those damage indentations from bounced shots you see in real life pictures, it puts the whole, "Huge ass hunk of metal slinging metal at another huge as hunk of metal" into perspective. One thing i don't understand is why the engineers didn't add at least a bit of slope on the tiger's armor, when they already faced huge problems with penetrating T34's and other sloped armors with their shitty tanks earlier in the war. You need to pay the sell price for the tank in silver, which I think may include equipment that was unmounted, and premiums you need to pay silver cost of the gold which makes buying back t8 premiums brutal. I forgot to mention I'm on console. SO we have to deal with retarded upgrade packages.

I researched everything on the KT. Going from an elite KT to a stock E75, the only thing you can immediately mount is the short 105. Beyond that, you need 51,800 XP to get the next package, which has the long 105. The reason it's so fucking expensive is because the package also includes the engine and tracks.

So yeah. I had to earn 52k XP on an E75 using the short 105.

Even heavies can be fun sometimes. Had to drive all the way across the map twice, though, which in an ST-I is no trivial thing.
At the end it was me and the arty against 5 tanks, and they all rushed into me and died (except the T30, who politely sat in our cap waiting to die).

Why bother? Bullydog's HEAT is terrible. Literally more likely to pen most things with it's regular APCR (175 + normalization, or 210 with no normalization and weakness to spaced/tracks).

been bored playing tonks so im starting to take screenshots of artsy shit

It's been a few years since I last played (EU server). I went up the E-100 line, and got to tier 9 with the frog TDs, plus had a few others halfway through.

Is it worth it to come back? I remember the worst thing being the losing streaks, amount of braindead players even at tier 10, RNG shot trolling (ie failing every shot on a weakspot, while the enemy hits yours every time), and gold ammo

Any of these got better recently? Any fun injected some other way? For what is worth, I've also played Armored Warfare since the very first alpha (I won an art contest), but the gameplay in that game didn't convince me, and Warthunder tanks is a mess.

You eventually get used to waiting for arty to fire before making a move, especially if you're spotted. Hard doing it in a heavy tank or if they hold fire just to wait for you, but yeah...

People suiciding to kill you is a problem, gotta try to get your teammates in line of sight and pray to avoid death. Sometimes they'll take 3 deaths just to kill you, nothing you can do then except be happy they sacrificed so much.
