Also according to data miners something will fuck with your healing on this boss. Seams like there's at least phases where Healing skills are either canceled, deal DAMAGE to your party and/or heal the Axion Dragon instead. Exceptions to that rule (tbc) appear to be the Damage Conversion heals from Ochus, Sheena and Olber^, with the possibility of Regen skills.

Gonna be interesting to see the gimmick/backdoor to THAT fight that isn't "Bring all the new photon mages, magic hoppers, debuffers and oneshot it a few rounds into the fight.".

There's a ton of ultimately useful and "broken" units in the game that are far from being Z class. The "Trinity" aka Bahl (B), Macuri (B) and Snaip (A) only being some of them, who've been proven MVP for the first of the 3 Dragon fights once again. Quite a bunch of "free" and lower ranked units who'll get recodes "soon" are likely to close in on the broken territory as well (Suoh, Korin, possibly even Camellia).

Mistwalker is just setting a poor example for new, ultra-rare units being close to a necessity for these new bosses right now. I guess they finally want people to spend some money, but it's likely that "cheap" units will catch up to the current meta soonish, with the next waves of recodes and other stuff (supposedly buffs will be available via otomos in the future).

All depends on how much you enjoy the gameplay. It looks really simple but there are some interesting depth to each class and does require some skill to play well. Most classes plays differently sort of like a very light MMO. Some characters within the same class plays similarly, while others play very different. Gacha rates are not high (4% for max rarity), but the beginners program basically guarantees a free 4*, and the 3* units are perfectly competitive since the 4* units don't become much better until after like level 70.

That said, the game is very heavily dependent on its gameplay. There are cute girls but as far as I can tell there isn't any sort of bonding events. Instead, you get an entire book of dairy entrees as the background story - and I mean like several hundred words of dairy. Story is very bare-bone and most gacha characters don't really make much appearance in it. If you don't enjoy the gameplay then there isn't much else.

Don't fret over the store ratings. It's a Sega game, and they delayed the release for like months. Watch some gameplay videos or just try it yourself to decide.

For those rolling each card comes with different variations. Affecting their stats and passive skill based on what variation you rolled. E.g. Ruby cards have attack stat bonus while emerald cards hp stat bonus. Ruby snow passive skill is hp regen when attacking enemies while emerald snow skill is hp regen every 6 seconds.

Probably best to get cards that compliment each other while rerolling.

That's considered the best unit/type combination in the game for now. Her passive skill is a heal and her active skill reduces all incoming damage for a few seconds. She has one of the highest HP so combined with the freebie 5* you can bloat your HP very high and you'll be able to facetank pretty much anything during the main story.

Yup. They sent everyone some chests so check your mail and open them. They'll give you some exp cards you can use to level her and the freebie easily to at least 20. Feeding exp cards of the same type (like Ruby cards to a Ruby unit) will give you extra exp.

Gameplay is easy to learn. Tap to attack, swipe to dodge. Each dodge consumes 10 SP and if you dodge at the very last second you'll recover 5.

Character skills are unlocked as you level up. You have a single target, a swipe to make the enemy fall into the ground, a counter, an AoE and the special skill, which you can only use after the orbs on the top left are all charged.

I think the main problem is us being underleveled and trying to tackle all the content too fast. In my case enemies are doing 2~3k damage per hit while I barely do 2k damage and my passive healing is useless, although the active skill is still good, reducing all damage to 1 is godly.

Challenge the "Cave of the Giant Crystal Golem" dungeon and farm materials by defeating the boss. Using those materials you will craft a box from which you can obtain Red Rood, Tinkerbell or Odette pieces, as well as her evolution materials. What you get from the boxes is random.

There will be four stages you can choose, the higher the stage the better the drops but it's of course harder.

If you're looking for something focused on gameplay instead of cute girls maybe you could give clash royale a try. It's actually pretty similar to heavenstrike in that you need to craft a deck that works for you and requires some thinking with unit placements in battle. Be warn though that it's not really discussed here much aside from two or three anons since most here like to play mobages for cute girls.

I got inspired by the guy here who fought through Area 5 before me so here's a full clear area 5. Crew is about lvl 39/40 with lvl40 Marina/Fortress [Blue+3] it's still not a guaranteed sweep but she survives long enough most of the time. It helps a Rose crit heal heals 2025HP.

She got a big buff last patch, very strong against melee swarm.

For farmed units:
Skull knight(4* base) is the strongest healer in the game, better than even legendaries.
Bau(5*) is very good with short CD skill to stun boss and clear waves with enough investment.
Sparrow(5*) has good team buff for water team and decent leader buff for gunner team.
Karen(5*) situational good against barrier/shield. You will need her to clear nicole's advent dungeon.
Everything else depend on your preference.

All raffle-only heroes, except for legendaries, can be rotated in medal shop to be purchased at 50k medal a copy. This means you don't have to gamble for them and better off saving 300k medals and wait for them to show up to max transcend them. You can get 30k medals/day at lategame with decent team.
