The only way you can counter a Viper and Omni would be with an aggressive tri lane. That combo can dive you under tower and one Omnibomb will half health you, then Viper will two shot you with his passive.

The best possible thing you could do in that situation is be ranged and just pull the creeps behind tower as much as you can so at least they don't kill the tier 1 before minute 6.

The buff to KotL's movespeed is really nice. He's actually decent as an aggressive support for kill lanes because he doesn't get outrun by literally everyone except Shadow Shaman and Winter Wyvern now.
He's also good at running away, so I don't feel he's as squishy as he used to be.


I generally get an Urn on him, is that dumb of me? He desperately needs stats and it gives him a strong heal until he gets Aghs or when it's nighttime, one of the biggest problems he has is that he can giff mana but can't heal.

But seriously Brewmaster is fucking useless and you can't seriously suggest that he build a radiance or heart, he has fucking 218 base mana and no other way to farm. If he has money for a timely radiance or heart, he already won. There's a reason that he's not seen in competetive or pubs anymore whatsoever, and that's becuase he's ass, plain and simple.

His W is damn near useless past 20 minutes because every carry will have bkb, manta, or a support that'll give them spell immunity or a dispel, his passive is half useless because nobody fucking hits his actual hero unit. He as a whole is actually only worth a damn as a counter to Omniknight.

Abyssal was primarily built for the 2 second BKB piercing stun, the damage was a nice bonus.
It's transitioned more to a utility item, sure, but the utility it gives you is 2 seconds of wacking a guy and he can't do SHIT about it unless he's got Linkens or Lotus Orb. It's definitely a strong mid game item that's still useful late just because it's unblockable stuns, and with Jugg you can basically permastun since he has such high attack speed and there'll only be like .7 seconds in between stuns.

I mean hell if you're feeling like an absolute MADMAN you could build Bloodthorn.

It's a touchy thing, because Break is a super powerful status. You can't even dispel it that I know of, the duration has to completely run out.

This fucks over any hero that relies on passives. Doom's Aghs and Silver Edge I believe are the only items that apply Break and Silver Edge just became one of the top 5 most cost effective items in the game. Actually giving any hero Break as an ability is madman status, which of course is why Doom doesn't apply Break anymore.

I would kind of like to see it come back on Hex, except that Shadow Shaman and Lion don't need more buffs. Maybe just on Sheepstick would be ok.

It's an expensive progression that gives her no survivability if she gets jumped on and gives her a mediocre amount of mana to work with.
Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. Wyvern is a good support, as a carry she comes online slow as fuck and will have less health, armor, and mainly movespeed than other carries who can start being useful from minute 20 instead of minute 40. Even medusa comes online faster.

By the time the enemy support is in the net you either just canceled their ult or you're right up their ass, so it's not really that big of a deal.

Old DD rune on Meepo really was ridiculous as >>140795519 said. Meepo already has the highest rightclick output of any hero in the game (as far as I know, maybe an Alchemist with a ridiculous amount of gold could do better but I can't be bothered to check), and a DD rune basically prevented the enemy team from ever leaving base. Moreso since now TP scrolls are staggered, they can't directly TP or they'll get picked off one by one, so they have to TP to fountain and walk over to him, and by then a t4 is gone at the least, while Meepo can just poof out. He can still backdoor, but with DD the time it took was so short even if the enemy team reacted immediately he could still get away with it.

Meepo already had to deal with a good 70% of items being useless on him, but given how any random carry doesn't want to build 70% of items in any situation, it's not that bad. It's not like the items he builds now are too lacking.

+4 damage was actually huge for laning, because now it's much easier to lasthit before level 3 (where it just becomes trivial to win the lane).

If you jump in the middle of the enemy team you already obliterated all the supports because lmao 1800 (well, 1080 in most cases) damage nuke.

I mean, he's not that bad.
