Given how much MT has taken from other ancient WRPGs like Wizardry, I wonder if the moon phase system was inspired by a similar system in old Ultima games.
Those games had two moons whose phases changed as the player moved. The first moon's phase determined where portals on the world map would appear, the second determined where they led.

So the function of the system wasn't too similar to the one in MT, but it's the only other game I can think of with something like this and might've been the inspiration.

How do you feel, knowing that its canon that you fuck flynn's boypussy in the massacre ending? Don't try to deny it either, since:

1: in the ending pic his submissive pose is clearly meant to look sexual. There'd be no reason for you to have him making a pose like that unless you actively wanted it to look sexual. And its too obvious a pose to only count as sexual for the viewer. The characters clearly see it as such also.

2: its openly a copy of the administrator ending from triangulum. And triangulum clearly has yaoi implications too. Truthfully, pixie is useful as long as you find her useful. Same for the other demons, if you're still using them keep them, if you've stopped using them in favor of a different demon or find that they can't keep up with what the dungeon demands, fuse them. You'll get it sooner or later. To answer your question directly, she's useful until partway into Bootes.

I don't think I can make it through Nocturne, mentally at least. I really like the music and the setting, but it just feels so tedious to actually play.

I think I gave up somewhere around meeting the balding demon wielding guy from the hospital in the Post-everything's-gone-to-shit world. I think I was in an underground lab of some sort.

The demons always steal my shit and run away or just beat me to death, it's really demoralising.

I've spent almost the entire game poor and about to die, I really need a reason to finish this game. Please send help.

It's not like I can't play the game man, I've beaten every boss so far. Well I usually die in the first battle, but I win after preparing.

My two main issues are that the demons never seem to join my team, it's like a rigged lucky draw. At least in Strange Journey it was easy enough to figure out what to say and they didn't constantly run of with your stuff.

Also the sheer amount of random battles can get hard to deal with.

Through an act of YHVH it turned back on to the lock screen on its own while I was sleeping so I was able to erase it but now I've gotta wait for my dad to find his Apple password so he can remove it from the Find My iPhone service and I can set it up. Yeah, those shelters are helpful but on my fourth run when I was fighting the Masakado DLC I gave in and bought the macca DLC to save some time using the compendium for fusion. For normal play you don't need the macca DLC for sure.

I finished IV and decided to give it a break before I try a NG+ with a new ending. I recently purchased a copy of SJ (played 3/4th of it at release) and Soul Hackers on 3DS.

Should I play SJ or SH next?
I was thinking about picking up a physical copy of overclocked as well. I played it on release too.
