Noob parry question: Can in theory someone become consistent enough to parrying to clear the whole game by parrying everything that can be parried?

I feel that at times I can parry 3-4 monsters in a row and after I die I'll have trouble parrying the first monster. Is parry inconsistent or do I just need to git gud?

To clarify this a bit I made my own version of a map of DS1 and 2's map design that I found on google
As you can see DS3's world isn't as interconnected as DS1 which is what people generally are displeased about. The levels themselves are pretty great, but you quickly realise that there aren't a lot of them and you quickly discover that you'll have to take a route that is even more linear than in the previous games. With that being said I am aware that you can take the lord bosses in nearly whatever route you fancy with the exception of abyss watchers, but you can't do the same kind of sequence breaking as you could in DS1.

So I just beat the Soul of Cinder for the first time, and I'm not sure if I fulfilled the "Usurp the Flame" conditions. When I approach the bonfire, all I get is the "Link the Fire" prompt, and nothing else. I'm scared to press A on the bonfire, though, if it locks me into that ending.
I was able to summon Yuria at the fog gate, too.

I'd trade all the milo in the world for Helm of the Wise.

I think untended graves is just the real firelink, and the one that is your hub is just an illusion, like how Aldia said the fire was an illusion. The hub area actually isn't connected to the world at large and you have to warp in and out of it, but untended graves is actually connected to the world by way of Lothric, whereas firelink the hub only appears to be next to the side of Lothric but you can't actually venture out. The first time you warp out of firelink you don't make it to a bonfire instead you arrive at a room that has a lordvessel and a coiled sword, which is what you just warped with, and may be their "mirror versions" in the non-illusory world. Not a single bonfire in the game is already lit when you get to it including the one at firelink, which begs the question what the firekeeper was even doing at firelink shrine the whole time you weren't there. Untended graves also has black knights which makes sense since we learn firelink is actually the kiln of the first flame. The firekeeper's eyes make her see everything for how it really is, which is to say she just sees the place as the untended graves.

But isn't it actually a good thing? Souls games were never about non-linearity anyway.
You won't get confused as fuck, you won't get to locations you are underleveled to to get mad and lost, you won't get overleveled for main locations so it won't break the intended difficulty and you won't be bored. In other souls games it is almost the same linearity but separated by difficulty gaps and not by progression.
Not even to mention that areas here are usually much bigger than in other games so there is maybe even more exploration now.
I just don't get why people are so mad about it sometimes, it seems more like an intentional design feature than just abandoning old ideas over nothing.
