Is it worth leveling Attunement to slot a couple pyromancies if I'm not going to level Int/Faith beyond like 12/12 or 15/15 or so? I'm not expecting to be able to use them as a main damage source, but will they even be worth casting for occasional AoE damage at stats that low?

Yeah, it's just usually the case that you won't know they're going to transform until they already have. That particular one has a couple of other guys that are actually actively attacking you nearby. You've just seen about 20 of the kneeling crazy zombies that don't do anything, he seems to be one of them. But yeah, I'll know in the future.

To be fair, the game does keep gifting you firebombs in that area, almost like it's apologising for putting those enemies in.

Is it possible to change your voice when you re-customise your appearance later on in the game? Just realised I made my gruff burly old pyromancer have a young mans voice, its throwing me off a bit.

So with pryo you just level stats like you would a knight and level flame like always? going for that class because sadly polearm fucked me over, too hard and weak.

First, bear in mind that the classes in this game are just starting stats and equipment. You could pick knight and then go around wearing robes and casting spells, building yourself that way as you level up.

That said, knight is widely agreed to be the best because you start with good armour and good stat distribution right off the bat.

So how do you build a pyromancer anyway? Initial class implies they're some kind of hybrid with some melee capability, but now that they require int AND faith the stat spread seems to be getting pretty thin. Also what's with dark magic this time around? Are they their own thing or are there only a few dark magics spread out through the other three magic types? They also need int and faith like in DS2?

Everyone is saying knight, and they're right, but Herald is strong too. Starts with a spear that has a very long range moveset and you can attack while blocking AND the spear's spec goes through shields AND you start with a healing spell. That said, Knight and Herald are the only ways to start with a shield that blocks 100% of incoming damage so they are definitely optimal for new players.

WEW I killed the first stage of Abyss Watchers for the first time. I'm not even mad that I got memed on by the second part flaming watcher because I feel like I'm getting better at this boss and my dodging improved a lot. What got me was the wide fucking swing of that flaming sword.


Should I try summoning people? I feel like phantoms would just agro the enemies on the way there and then die from not dodging the walkers in the first stage.


Also, does anyone know what the walkers are weak to? I have a +3 broadswoard but I feel like I can be doing more damage.

Does anyone else get this weird bug with DaS3 while using keyboard and mouse? Everything works fine except sometimes my character runs in a random direction, like the A or S key is being held down while hands are off the keyboard.

Anyone else experience this? Rolling seems to fix it but it's annoying as fuck, and it's only for DaS3

How does NG+ affect invasions, co-op and so on? Considering there are ways to edit your appearance and stats with ease and no penalty for changing Covenants is it plausible to just go to NG+3 or whatever and only ever need 1 character?

No, it's not that. Imagine you have the music track, the ambient track, the track for your footsteps, the track for enemy grunts... They all run together. For some reason, the ambient track and only the ambient track goes quiet for like 1/4 a second when any other SFX happens. Kind of like when voice chat auto-mutes (or quietens) other noises when you speak.
