I'm playing DaS2 at the moment and trying to adjust to the changes from DaS.

I was wondering if the hollow health punishment made a return in DaS3? You know when you die and lose 10%-50% until you reverse hollowing? Is that in DaS3 or is it another thing best left forgotten from DaS2?

That was a Warcry buffed r2, so yeah, it was a weapon art.

The very beginning of the warcry r2 is the only part that can't be interrupted.
Otherwise, the ENTIRE rest of the moveset can tank FUGS.

I haven't seen much greathammer usage, but they're cerrtainly faster than DaS1 GHs, and you have hyper armor too.

Make sure to 2H them though, as the 1HR1s are the atrocious DaS1 R1s. 2HR1s are horizontal swings. I'm not sure if your 2HR1s can be parried, but I know your 2HR2s can't.

There are multiple greathammer movesets, this is sort of confusing, but the greatclub has the horizontal lunge of the DaS1 large club, the large club has the jumping attacks of the small club, and other hammers have splat R2s.

How's the Astora Great Sword? I assume that while straight swords are better overall than regular GSs, UGSs are now generally better for use since they're not straight up outclassed by FUGS? How's the lance charge on it? I love weapons that mix things up with their movesets, I'm considering making this Blessed and then having a swordspear or DSS or something as backup.

How is faith generally? Better off infusing lightning/blessed or leaving it plain/heavy/sharp/refined and buffing? Maybe infused slower weapon (like aforementioned sword) and buffing a smaller, faster one like... ASS? Don't yet know what my str/dex are gonna be.

Also, I've heard contrary to before that greatshields CAN be made Blessed, and despite the stamina not upgrading, is still a better option than adjudicators 2.0?

First build is going to be quality with 15 faith for using Replenishment and Blessed Weapon. Main weapon will be Gotthard Twinswords. I will go with a holy knight type aesthetic with the Herald and Lothric Knight sets mixed up.

Second build will be a sneaky dex/luck character that uses the Hollow Carthus Shotel buffed with bleed resin, as well as a Hollow Dagger for backstabs and ripostes . It will be mainly an invader build, with Hidden Body, Obscuring Ring, Silver Cat Ring and Hornet Ring for sneaky assassin shenanigans. It will use Yuria's set.

Third build will probably be a mage, but I don't know how it will be yet (the stat spread and such). I enjoy mainly 1v1 PvP duels, but the addition of the obscuring ring has made me want to go back to invasions that I used to love in Dark Souls 1. With this in mind, my idea would be a mage assassin style character that comes out from the shadows to one or two shot invadees with powerful spells. It will be a glass cannon. Hopefully we figure out magic by the time I get to work on this character.

You can rush for the weapons, but if you want a safe bet before you make the choice between strength or quality, sure. For PvE you don't need to worry so much, but as far as dedicated PvP goes, people tend to gouge vigor with every spare point they can and leave endurance relatively low, somewhere around 20. I preferred something more around 30 for a Holy Moonlight Sword build, which is probably reasonable for other heavy weapons. Whatever you're comfortable with works, but I consider 30 the best stopping point if you want to have a good extra bit of breathing room for both dodges and extra aggression against bosses.
