Alright, I finally beat YU-NO. It's half of a good VN and half of a really bad and generic one.

So many dropped threads (although it's easy to infer what happened in most cases), worse characters as well as ruining all of the build-up behind the main gimmick of the game. I'm disappointed.

Just finished YMK and it was good but far from perfect. I feel like it had some pacing issues, mostly due to constant h-scenes with too little downtime in between. Most of the supporting characters were barely existent. Also the imouto needed a route. The heroines were all good though, although Mizuki didn’t really do much for me before the ending. Honestly the good endings were the best thing about it. Really satisfying all-around. And I don’t think I’ve ever felt such satisfaction with a VN as when choking the bitch. Even still, my final ranking would be:

Hiroko > Aeka > Nekoko > Mizuki

Next up KiraKira, my expectations are pretty high.
