From there you branch to the three main options:

>S&P fic novel thingy if you want pure story. As much as it sounds like a downside that it has nothing but story, you can trust that nothing in the story will be sacrificed for porn or gameplay. Since it's text-only it also enjoys immense quantity in terms of frequent content release that can be actually read unlike Paradox, and can also count as a timekiller if you're out of options due to the size. Last time I checked it's over 600k words long.
>Official sequel MGQ Paradox if you want MGQ in an RPGMaker style, though you better give up on story altogether since it's INMENSELY big text-wise, meaning translation will be a luxury, not to mention only one part out of 3 have been released. Due to said immensity, don't expect the other parts to be released any time soon. If you're in it for the CGs you're better off looking at some gallery on sadpanda.

A lot of it isn't necessarily relevant (background NPCs, random skill use callouts, and things which aren't necessarily a big priority, but they're still things.

In my progression of the post-game superdungeon, I've noticed that EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER has a different attack callout for many given skills. And there's hundreds of skills in this game. Sure some overlap... but when you consider there's 150 or so lines of dialogue JUST for what each character says when using Geyser, then you realize how insane it is.

TT went overboard, and it's great, but it's also a translation nightmare.

It's not like the original universe didn't have things you could write a plot off (see: NG+ and S&P, partly). Feels more like he realized MGQ was a massive success and wants to cash in on that success by making another game that carries the MGQ tag while also pulling a AU idea that allows him to do whatever he wants with it.

The thing is the mainline plot is finished. You can't continue from it, the villains are dead and the heroes already won. The only way they could have continued is integrated into Paradox already. I feel that he wanted to make more games in the universe and an AU is the best way to do it.

Multiple times has it been said here that RPGMaker's line mechanics don't state what goes where, it's all bunched together so you have to translate it all because there's nothing labeled 'plot important' or 'plot irrelevant'.

What would be there and how did god somehow not notice it? Any sort of asspull would be worse and make less sense than just making an AU, and any plot still taking place in the regular story needs to deal with the problem of still being a threat to someone that can kill god and his even more OP timelord kids. Alice I is on par with Ilias, probably weaker than abomination Ilias, and the six ancestors are equal to the three seraphs so the biggest threat left in the original world isn't a threat to the protagonist. I suppose they could have just skipped the AU and had Apostasis attack the mainline universe without warning but that sort of thing needs to be foreshadowed and it still has the problem of not being enough of a threat. If La Croix can beat the leader of an Apostasis invasion force than the Luka family should be fine for a while.

I'd do it but for most games it really isn't so easy to edit the data. With games like pokemon, ROM hacking utilities make everything so accessible that a 10 year old could do it. I mean, if you spent enough time learning RPGmaker, you could probably modify pokemon essentials and make a PokeMonmusu h-game with scenes and all that. That sounds like a lot of work though.
