can anyone give me a step-by step to get jap ds3 on my xbone? i don't use the thing very often. i've set my acct region to jp, and when i change the xbone's lang to jp, i can see ds3 on the store (and 3/24 release date), but i can't navigate the sea of moonrunes after that. i've got my paypal hooked into my acct, but clicking the purchase button just brings up a page with a plaintext field, my email address, a bunch of moonrunes, and two options (one of which brings up some MS policy page, other causes yellow text to flash under the plaintext entry field)

Base AR:145
D STR scaling, E for DEX, confirmed STR weapon.
Require 26 STR and 16 DEX to wield.
Range is fucking massive, don't even have to think about distance, just R1 all day.
Weapon art is weird, you press L2 to engage it, but have to hold R2 to keep spinning, when you run out of stamina the character will do a final big attack.

Upgrades with regular titanite, I'm still in the first level so I can't say anything about infusions yet! I hope someone found this interesting.

All the combos are systematic and paced perfectly for successive dodging.

This guy is getting fucked because she's a shitter with 0 timing who panic rolls. He's had his hand held by the abysmally low difficulty of the game up until this point and never learned basic combat mechanics, and now he's getting fucked for it.

Stage 2 might be legitimately hard, we don't know because we haven't seen more than 2 seconds of it, but getting to stage 2 definitely won't be hard.

Like, I was watching this guy fight Aldritch and it basically was not only a Gwyndolin callback in terms of visual design and music, it also, like Gwyndolin, only had lke 3-4 attacks it used over and over again until it died.

The game feels like such a mixed bag in terms of bosses. The quality is all over the place.

On the one hand, there are truly god-tier bosses such as Nameless King and elegant ones such as Abyss Watchers (which I honestly feel is a better and cooler Artorias fight).But at the same time, there are also some of Miyazaki's worst bosses, like Crystal Sages, Old Demon King (this same player was just hugging the boss's crotch for 60 percent of the fight and won), Deacons of the Deep (which is just utter trash) and Ancient Wyvern.

I kind of understand. The plot points of DaS2 when it comes to the crowns and the daughters of Manus don't really have any relevance to the main plot in DaS3 about the end of fire and shit. It would turn the plot into a clusterfuck to have omniscient beings like Aldia in Dark Souls 3.

So Miyazaki was nice enough to make DaS2 canon, but there was no way he could have incorporated DaS2's plots about crowns, Aldia and shit into the framework of Gwyn and the fire.

Or at least not in the main game.

Maybe he'll do a story tribute to DaS2 in one of the DLCs.
