The Vampire Counts armies in the Warhammer setting are basically invincible until their leader is killed which happens to all the Von Carsteins. The Tomb Kings are slightly different because they are all animated by their souls which get bound back into their remains with varying success though they are also virtually impossible to destroy which is why they can compete in a gunpowder age with bronze weapons and armour. I hope they have the curse on the Tomb Kings so that whichever unit that slays them is eaten alive by scarabs.

Yeah, the odds of an arrow breaking a major bone are pretty low. Most of the time they're going to glance off and even a plumb hit isn't guaranteed to snap the bone completely and disable the skeleton.

Plus they have shields and armour.

Why was CA so retarded?

Literally all they had to do to avoid the Chaos DLC shitstorm, or at least severely lessen it, was WAIT to tell people about it.

Build up the hype, have people slavering for info and then drop "Hey, guess what, there'll be a FIFTH faction at launch!"

Sure some people would still have been pissed that it's a preorder thing, but a lot, possibly even most, would just have been happy that Chaos was in there at all and that there'll be 25% more content than they expected.

Despite not liking pre-order DLC myself I still think the backlash was overblown, but really CA is entirely at fault for the sheer magnitude of the backlash given how poorly they handled the reveal.

They did make them that big, but they definately didn't stick them on fucking wheels and use them as battlefield artillery.

Those are seige engines that'd be constructed in situ. If you tried pushing something that heavy across a field, it'd have sunk into the ground and immobilised itself before you got two metres.

The cheiroballista was the only battlefield artillery that saw regular use, although smaller onagers and the like were used sometimes as well.
