in pikmin 3 the terrain textures a low rez in places and the pikmin have terrible pathfinding when you whistle them

for 3d you wanna go ocarina, twilight princess, wind waker, majoras mask. if you like classic NES stick zelda 1 anywhere in there for a change of pace, or at the beginning if you wanna start where it all began.

for 2d a link to the past, a link between worlds, minish cap, any other 2d one besides triforce heroes. again stick zelda 1 in there at will.

whether to pick 3d or 2d depends on the kind of experience you want. 2d is more puzzle oriented while 3d is more action oriented. while this is a generalization and they both have their fair share of both, it will get you started. if you arent enjoying one of the games either try another or switch between 2d and 3d. some zeldas are taste specific.

hyrule warriors is okay desu but its not a zelda game but a hack n slash hoarde killing big ass combos action game that was developed by the team that makes dynasty warriors. its enjoyable but its not zelda, just looks like zelda. i went into it knowing this and it still dissapointed me because i had not played a dynasty game and really just wanted a zelda.
