Towers, phoenixes, and the titans all deal physical damage, as well as the Gold Fury and Fire Giant (also the bull fag if you're playing joust). Lane and jungle minions deal physical damage too. So basically no. The only sources of magical damage you'll encounter against 5 physical gods is damage caused by Mystical Mail, Runeforged Hammer, and I think Nemean Lion, which should all be very negligible.

Odin's just an ult bot, if you actually want to kill people and not die get Tyr. Early game his 1-2 combo is a ton of damage and great displacement, and late game he's unkillable with a heal big enough to make someone not bother fighting you. It's great, when you're done maxing your 3 it's like having an extra damage item in assault stance and an extra defense item in defense stance.

Yeah definitely try Bellona. If you're just getting into warriors, I'd actually go with her before Tyr since Tyr takes a bit of practice and his damage is great but it's hard to 100-0 someone unless your positioning is good. Bellona can easily take half of somebody's health bar with a single bludgeon early game, and if they blow their escape and CC just use your 1 and auto attack them to death while they're stuck in an endless slow.

Well I got it because I was doing better boxing people than my abilities since I couldnt 1 shot anyone really but I could land my ability and then left click them 3-4 times.

Merc had stupid useless items against me.
Tyr was weak as fuck with no magic def and a starter item and as long as he didnt hit me I was good.

Zeus had no dmg and had that stupid as fuck crit item and that healing thing.
He could outrun me but only if I didnt get him in the combo and my 3 before my speed boost ran out.
Then cupid and vulcan mostly stayed away from me and attacked the other team cause wed stalemate if we fought.

Other than that, theyd just slaughter the merc and apollo and chase me under tower and try and 5v1 me and Id run away in advance or pop my boots and run or my aegis.

The game was pretty much over in like 8m when they had like 6 lvls over me.

Theres not really anything you can do if someone is fucking up much less 2 people.
Theres just a huge mechanical advantage and you have no hope unless the enemy team fucks up.

I can burst as sol but I cant burst everyone.
I guess I could have gotten polynomicon and chronos but they were just eating my abilities and going forward on me regardless because they just have too much fucking health.

I dont see how having like 150 more dmg from poly on hit or chronos having my abilites 2s faster when when im still waiting 6s for the cd and they are rushing me as im attacking. I was just hoping to focus one god and kill him and have deso pop and go into a 2nd burst and maybe my ult and hope for the best.

So what's the standard build for a Hunter these days? Is it still Trans > Warrior > Soul Eater > Exo > Rage > Death Bringer? Season 3 has really thrown me off since I got back into Smite.

the most used builds now are qins builds:
Trans/WTabi/Asi/Qins/Titans/Situational(Pen/AS/Crit). Maybe sell the trans for another crit item if you get a DB sixth or something.
Also, starting DT+Pots instead of Trans and then doing the same build but leaving the trans out completely is effective on a lot of hunters so you can get your qins online faster.
Lifesteal and crit has been nerfed in like 666 ways, and the meta has shifted to games being decided earlier, so people are favoring these qins memebuilds that get their core damage up faster than a crit build.
Soul eater is pretty ass now. Please avoid it.

Asi is a better item in every regard. Pen is too important, and the passives don't even care. Soul Eater's is lackluster, and Asi's is absolutely godlike. Asi is actually broken for it's price, comparable to sub 2k breastplate for its raw value. You can't argue double lifesteal either, because you sacrifice too much flat power when you could pick up more pen items or a heavy AS item like Fatalis or Ody bow, which also provide valuable utility damage or necessary mobility in certain situations.

It's only good this update because of the player made meta. Suddenly since everyone that plays a warrior or guardian has to double down on protections, pen is now very valuable. so instead of stacking a devo, just get asi for lifesteal which also has pen.

Asi's never been bad in my time playing, IIRC. It's just, 300hp Soul eater and pre-nerf Devo's were absolutely ridiculous items. Asi exists as it is right now because ADC builds as a whole are actually okay, and they benefit greatly off of burst healing to deal with burst mages, and pen to deal with all the full tank builds and bruiser assassins. They're not too bursty and they're sustained, dangerous damage that can be punished without the bullfuckery of 1200 damage crits on tanks. The only god who totally blows this idea up is Huo Yi, and frankly, fuck that god anyway.
