Modding view is where the weapon is zoomed in and stays mid-air and that you cannot rotate it around. Visualizing it lets you rotate the weapon around, but the weapon stays in midair, no?

There's shots somewhere where the weapon is being held by the character and that the camera zooms in on the weapon. It's close enough to see the details of the weapon but far enough to see the hand and partial body of the character (holding the weapon), along with the rarity. Everything else except of the weapon is blurred, though.

Maybe someone can help or post a screen of what I'm talking about...

And the subplot of the owner of the book who wrote about codes in the book on the margins of it. This woman is in the game and has many many echos about her becoming entagled in the events of the game like meeting Aaron and getting rescued by a division agent that gets killed and she takes his backpack full of shade tech.
There is more to the story than just the main plot
It isnt a great story but this isnt fucking wow we arent on quests and shit. It's a free form loot based grind simulator. Personally I enjoy that type of game and this one has a halfway decent story and premise behind it

The Division itself doesn't make any sense in their mission to "protect what remains" of the government, because they themselves have to maintain a governing body. And there's no reason they're somehow special in the outbreak of a virus, because they aren't immune.

Speaking of the virus, this Earth-shattering mega virus apparently isn't that big of a deal, since you constantly run around without your mask, taking clothing and items from infected areas, and interact with infected people with no problem at all.

The JTF is the single most incompetent party in the entire game, constantly fucking everything up, and doing everything wrong. They keep talking about how they "failed to contain" the virus, like it was a fucking zombie outbreak that actively attacked them. They abandoned an absolute fuckton of materiel out in the field, including a bunch of armored vehicles with GMGs on top. Somehow we're supposed to believe, what, rioters with baseball bats and small arms overran JTF checkpoints in the DZ? Even us, as super cool seekrit agents only have limited ways in and out of the Dark Zone, but dumb nigga thugs who hold their guns sideways just come and go?

The Cleaners are a cool idea but are fucking cartoonishly evil and retarded. Instead of just shooting people they think are infected, collecting everything in their garbage trucks, including dead bodies and clothing, infected trash, etc. they just go about burning people, and the entire fucking city, down like a bunch of fucking morons who haven't spent more than 30 seconds thining about their plan. And everyone in the entire public works sector apparently just goes along with it, because Joe Ferro is a big guy.

The Rikers are the stupidest fucking group of them all, like a bunch of convicts who spent the last several years raping each other up the ass and shanking each other in gang conflicts are going to just get out of prison and stay with their buttfuck buddies and follow some stupid nigger gal.

And the fact that to a solo player like me, the dz is just a place where you run pointlessly and engage enemies in same repetitive manner is beyond anything. It was somewhat fun while it lasted

I've never been more on the fence about buying a game than this. Part of me really wants to get it and enjoy it, part of me is worried I won't like it.

I killed a bunch of npcs and a named elite near the extraction point but thats it

Also I wish hard mission were actually rewarding.
I had a nice group going ( all level 17 ), and we took on hard time squares mission after doing a bunch of filler shit, which is all too easy no matter your level btw, and I know about rng etc, but completing a hard mode mission should at least give you some usable loot, even if not the best for your level.
All I got from it was greens and a trash blue.
