Have you guys ever been to /cgg/?
It's a pretty dead general, for a dead genre of games. But you know what keeps them active? They create shit. Videos, tutorials and other noteworthy stuff that led to more people coming into the thread and game genre, with every style torunament getting more entries than the last. Hell, for a dead place with an average poster count that rarely gets to one hundred, even their memes stay fresh. They're also good at dealing with shitposters.
Meanwhile, /dfog/ keeps posting the same shitty memes, circlejerking over the same "famous" players, complaining about the thread or game being dead without actually doing anything about it, and when someone asks a question, a legitimate question, half of the time he'll get nothing but shitposting in return.
The problem is not that the playerbase is small. The problem is not that the amount of posters is small. The problem is that most posters are just natural shitposters. Meanwhile, reddit is full of idiots and Nexon is full of tumblrinas and attention whores, so it's a "´pick your poison" situation.

This game would be fun if items ever dropped. I've been playing since Nexon NA release and I've literally not once run into a good item. stop playing against laggers in ranked and hone your skill in 101, you probably need the practice anyway. once nipple disables prt/dic in pvp you can try going back

i fight forced laggers who use prt/dic lag all the time and can still hold a decent combo and still win. if you are consistent in your timing instead of stopping it will juggle them through the lag most of the time. the only time that doesn't work is if they are using a third party program to lag like itachikalla
