Darn it. I knew I couldn't be trusted with this, I ended up going a bit overboard on the wordcount. Fair warning, would-be readers, there are some slight sins I made here.

One, it's not actually from the viewpoint of the PC, but somebody else (which becomes more apparent as you read on), and there's also a slight shift in focus halfway through which happened as I wrote it, but I actually do really like this one a lot.

They're 'done', but only in the sense that there's been an extremely barebones framework available for people to use if they want to add in characters. What I'm doing is expanding on the areas by adding in more characters myself and fleshing out the ones that I've already had in place. For the mountains, I've had quite a few characters in the works.

For instance, there's Renata and the harpy thieves, where they can find out how they got there in the first place and maybe romance Renata. There's also the dragon girl and the kobold girls (one of which is a recruitable NPC), who are in a new sub-biome for the mountains, the inner valley. It's got a whole little questline with multiple mobs that ties into the harpy thieves (They took their gold when it fell down into the valley). I'm hoping that this new area might inspire people to write more things for it once it's in, it's a nice place.

Not just this stuff, but there's also the haunted armor expansion I've been working on (much thanks to the original author for letting me take over, if you ever read this, know I'm still grateful for that) that adds an extra little bit of worldbuilding and can give the PC a sparring buddy. I'm also toying with the idea of having it as a temporary ally for fortress exploration, particularly the spooky underground area of the fortress, and having some modifiers as appropriate. I think it should be okay.

This is just most of the major stuff I've been working on for the mountains area. As I'm sure you can tell now, there's quite a bit left for me to go, and then there's the forest. There, I have both Sheena, the catgirl bartender with a slightly mysterious past, and Accalia, the wolf girl goddess, to contend with as major NPCs, let alone any other characters.

Such as - but not necessarily limited to! - finishing up that moth girl I had left sitting in the backburner for ages. She'll have a mean rape path, and a nicer consensual path. I even have an idea where you can get dream scenarios from her, but only after fulfilling certain conditions (like, reading an anecdote about somebody, then talking to her and having her 'bring it to life' in the dream).

Then there's the docks area, which should have a couple of encounters. I've got some plans for the area. I think they'll be neat, but time will tell if they make their mark on people.

Then there's the countryside. I've got a few ideas for different fae-related encounters there, like a Puca girl (who might be a bunnygirl or a centuar girl, or maybe even both at different times), or a barghest girl (a wolf girl by any other name), a Banshee, and maybe a Dullahan, among a few things. Not to mention the Firma storyline with Maxwell's fae-related troubles, and may even feature a necromancer's ghost taking revenge on the populace for not paying him proper tribute.

Even after that, I do want to do a few things for Skypoint. The chief thing among them is a murder mystery I'm thinking of (Warning, it'll likely be my first murder mystery so don't expect a total brain-teaser) which might toy with mentioning Skypoint's political tensions.

The desert isn't without things I want to do for it, either. Aside from Mesi, there's Bew-Reshwett, and one other city I haven't really unveiled yet (only barely hinted at so far) that the centaur girl is connected to, which might be my biggest project yet, at least in terms of its initial scope.

Yes, this is all mostly just the barebones cliff notes stuff of future plans, and I may do more than what I've said here - such as sub-biomes, or more NPCs.
Being frank, a lot of things I'm working on now were backed up for eons due to lots of problems, both Slablands and real life related. I'm very hopeful people will like what I've got.

If I were to write an area that consisted of three doors where you could open one each day, and there was an equal chance of finding gold, a mob which dropped a sellable item, or a gatekeeper asking a riddle, what would be the best place for this?

The idea would be for it to be essentially like a very small dungeon. If you answered the riddle wrong there would be a 25% chance to trigger a fight with a giant lamia who is the protector of the treasure the riddle master is guarding. This would be a miniboss fight. Winning would give you a weapon and another sellable item. The bigger treasure would be a cache of items and gold. Essentially the purpose would be to let players earn more gold since this seems to be a major issue right now.
