I am not going to min max but I seriously need some help for the final battle, I don't do damage at all, any tips like a reccomended level to do that quest, which vocation I should reach that level with and/or which vocation is best suited for that battle?
I have currently unlocked with enough skill only strider and magik archer, the rest I got to grind for vocation rank yet (fighter rank 5, magik pally rank 3 and everything else 0)

Does pawns learn to play vocations when they're playing as a different one? Like if I play Strider and my pawn is Sorc, will my pawn have learned to Strider if I switch later?

Man low level BBI runs are so fun, didn't know throwblasts were so good at dealing damage that shit is just reking a bunch of enemies for easy exp and now I just purified a 600 atk sword still can't do much to the first boss though but able to kill chimeras/cocks/cyclops/ogres easily at lvl 30 hunter.

yes the pawn will have knowledge of the enemies, and use that knowledge according to inclinations.
ie : if your pawn knows a foe is weak to fire, and said pawn is a mage, he might use fire affinity. If the pawn doesnt have access to buffs that will be 'useless' knowledge, unless the pawn has Utilitarian inclination, in which case he will make the call during battle that the enemy is weak to fire.
Same logic goes for everything else, vocation / inclinations combo is important.

New England, got a hire message, no RC and a rock, 3 stars.

The message on the steam discussion page said that they had no idea what caused it, but it should be fixed. They also said it may take 12 - 24 hours for all of the kinks to get worked out, but are encouraging people to rent as per usual so they can check shit on their end.

I fucking love the game when a boss that is near immune to 9/10 of all the enchants in the game and that last enchant is the one you're not having with you, so you have to run around and deal about 0.1% of his health per combo.

The whole being dependent on retarded AI and carrying around a bunch of enchants while playing the guessing game is awful.

[FAQ09] Why won't the Ur-Dragon's health move?
Urdy comes in two varieties: Offline and Online. The offline version has around 1.5 million hp while the online version's hp is an innumerably large number greater than that; he cannot be slain in one round. To change between versions, simply set your game to offline or online under options before entering the chamber. He has 30 hearts, all of which must be destroyed for completion. He retreats after 8 minutes, and you must re-enter his chamber to fight him once again, where you can reach from the Chamber of Lament or from the Riftstone on the beach of Cassardis in NG+.

Online Urdy is a combined effort from players around the world. The damage you deal in a single round is uploaded after the round and taken from the server's hp pool. Once his hp is zero, he will enter a “grace period”, where he is substantially weakened for about an hour. Note that he will not be defeated quickly, it can take up to a week for the Online version to finally die; be prepared if you wish to make this grace period. This will allow you to land the finishing blow to get the Abyssal Set and some of the weapons and masks that might catch your eye. For updates on his hp, visit the gamefaqs thread.

That's basically exactly what I did. I made a Strider with a Mage pawn and I couldn't train him properly so I restarted with a Strider pawn. Remade the Strider but with a Strider pawn and now he's a pretty good Ranger.

If you know where to go for all the quests it takes no time at all to redo it. You'll get to Gran Soren in a couple hours or less.

If I start a new game right now, will pawns be working for me?

I dunno what happened between this version and the PS3 version but my mage pawn is crazy good this time.

I just fought a cyclops and the entire fight she stood there spamming lighting bolt keeping it perma stunned instead of running around like an idiot, channeling ice spells, breaking channels to move, healing me 10% damage. This is great. I didn't even give her different inclinations or train her by playing a mage myself, been melee this entire run so far.

AFK farm vocations.

If you go afk in gran soren's noble quarter, and jump on the wall next to the cathedral, your pawns will fight the guards.
They're around 100xp a pop, so you get the full 37.5% vocation exp per kill.
If you have any vocations you want maxed, this is THE easiest way to do it. Switch to that vocation, bring two sorc pawns + your pawn as a sorc, and afk on the wall and let your pawns kill all the guards with magic, since their physical def is high.

For Sorcs, when you cast anything you have a glyph show up with little dots that you have to move your cursor to fast. The more glyphs you complete, the bigger multiple you get to the spells damage and also if you finish all the glyphs before the cast time is up, you can cast the spell right away but that generally isn't possible besides for long ass spells like Bolide.

All vocations are more specialized too like Mage is now Priest and are almost entirely support based with buffs that you can give to party members and creating auras and such rather than Mages just being gimpier Sorcs with a couple of support spells.
